Complete beginners course then check this one out
This was a great complement to Paul’s complete beginner Spanish course which honestly was brilliantly executed. I’m Puerto Rican that English was my second language but as a child in America English became my main language. 30 years later I’m here relearning Spanish and Paul’s methodology has made the biggest impact. I’ve invested some time and money on this path and I can’t believe how much I continue to learn and realize how much of Paul’s method really stuck with me.

this is for absolute beginners. this "essential" Spanish contains literally a few phrases (with some variations) in ~2 hours. besides, it includes essentially exactly the same content as the first part of the author's another audiobook. there is absolutely no reason to buy both.
