Publisher's Summary

Tucker Hudson has been off SEAL Team 3 for nearly 10 years. He reluctantly attends his former teammate’s wedding on New Year's Eve, vowing to keep his hands to himself and his mouth shut. Suffering nightmares from a tragic deployment, he barely left the teams with an honorable discharge. Romance is one complication he does not need. And no one needs him either: not the teams, not his family.

Brandy Cook knows she isn’t as attractive as the skinny blondes who usually attend SEAL weddings. Although she’s dieted for three months straight, she’s only managed to fit into a size 16 dress, and only then with the help of a monstrous undergarment that nearly prevents her from breathing. So when the big grey-haired former SEAL with a body built like Shrek takes a passing interest in her, she figures he’s been forced by a wager or some kind of trick.

But as the clock strikes midnight, the improbable happens and suppressed passions take over, ending in a steamy night neither will forget, but both will admit later was a huge mistake. When Brandy finds herself in trouble, Tucker turns out to be the only one who can keep her safe from the fury building around her world.

Can't wait for more

This short novella sets the storyline, plot, and character story perfectly for the full story, SEALed at the Alter, later. Tucker, a retired Navy SEAL, is a large, nicely built man who just can’t seem to find his right woman. His ideal woman isn’t your normal skinny girl. He likes his women with curves and a personality to match. Que Brandy, a beautiful curvy woman who’s as sweet as she is salty, and a LOT younger than Tucker. Brandy is tied down with the responsibility of family and isn’t looking for anything more than one night of pleasure. When Brandy and Tucker cross paths at a friend’s wedding, the two are drawn to one another. Will it just be one night, or will it be forever?

Although New Year SEAL Dream was short, it was satisfying. I can’t wait to dive into their story more and learn about the characters. I also appreciate that Sharon adds in appearances of other characters from her other stories.

The Bigger They Are...

In New Years SEAL DREAM, Tucker Hudson 39, retired NAVY SEAL, is going to a former team mate's wedding on New Year's Eve. Weddings aren't his favorite thing, Being a die hard single guy, he's more of a one night stand kind of guy, but goes because of his team mate. At this wedding, there is the typical ribbing from the guys and the bridal attendants are your typical slim, beauties, All except one. Brandi Cook is 24 and a dark haired beauty, but she's not slim and petite like the other attendants. Brandi is a big a curvy, gloriously endowed woman. Tucker spies her and can't take his eyes off her. Brandi knows she's not like the others, and tends to be a loner. She on a perpetual diet, especially for this wedding, so she's not been eating. As she's reaching to get some punch, someone bumps her hand and she spills punch all over front of her dress. That someone is Tucker, who apologizes and tries to help her mop up. Brandi is instantly attracted to this huge handsome man, but also embarrassed about the spill When he offers to get her another glass she gulps it down. Bad idea, She hadn't eaten, and the punch was spiked! It didn't turn out well! Brandi got sick, and Tucker, being the honorable guy he is, helped her as she gets herself together, She admitted that she hadn't eaten. Tucker got her food and made her eat. After eating, and talking,, When the New Year came in, they they brought it in with a kiss that they didn't want to end. This is the story of two improbable people meeting and fulfilling a need neither one new they had. It's wonderful to read about normal, down to earth people who are not perfect, but are real! I'm loving this series, and i'm confident you will too. There is nothing to compare to the Brotherhood these guys share. This Novella is the first of two Novellas in The Bone Frog Brotherhood series. Be sure to get the next book, and continue the series!

Brandy and Tucker - made for one another

This is the first in a series of stories following Tucker Hudson and Brandy. Tucker goes to the New Years Eve wedding of his friend Brawley. Although Tucker got out of the Seals 10 years before, he still is loosely associated with them. At Brawley’s wedding, a curvy brunette bridesmaid, Brandy, hold his attention. Although he was not planning on it, she draws him in and he spends time with her, including that first hot, hot, hot night. Despite their 11 year age difference, Tucker and Brandy click. Where will it go from here? This is the first audiobook of Sharon Hamilton’s that I have listened to. Narrator JD Hart has a smooth melodious voice that drew me in and held my attention while he voiced the various characters. I really enjoyed his reading of this story and look forward to hearing more from him!

yes to Tucker YUM

It was good to be back in Ms. Hamilton's SEAL world, I love all her books. Loved that it deals with a more mature hero and a curvy heroine which resonates more with me. Two very different people and they make it work. It was great to see some of the other characters I met in previous books. It is a short one, so looking forward to their full story.
Mr. Hart has a smooth voice, and the ease with which he changes his voice to fit each character is amazing. I loved his previous narrations and listening to him in this book, the pacing is changed, a bit slowed down. I upped the speed a bit and it made it a better experience for me.

Funtastic

There have been rimes in the past with other authers, that I have said to myself "Great. Here we go again. " Not this time. The writing was tight and allowed you to fall in love with the characters.

The narrator was smooth and added just the right amount of oomph. He neither read too fast or too slow. OMG he's the Goldilocks of the narrating world.
