Wonderful Flawed Protagonist

Really enjoy this series. Wasn't expecting a cliff hanger ending though.....how long do I have to wait to find out.....well that would be too much of a spoiler.

Very weak ending!!

Besides the very questionable ending, the author spent way too much listening time retelling parts of books 1-3. This might be needed if one had not listened to the first three books but for those who have, it was a waste of time. Unsure about his next two books.

When’s the next book coming out?

This addition to the series was a good one. I don’t want to give out spoilers, but I will say I felt at times feelings I didn’t want to feel. I was saddened, angered, and by the end left wanting more. All I can ask is, when does the next book come out? I would also like to point out the production of the audiobook was well done. The narrator did a great job in conveying emotions of the characters, well done overall.

Suspense to the end!

I hope there will be another in this series soon. I enjoyed them all and am eager to see what happens with KC and sheriff Trent next, and of course Jack.

What happened to the editor?

As a big fan of this series, my wife and I were excited to see the new book had finally been released. This quickly turned to disappointment when we encountered multiple discrepancies in the story.. Characters were introduced over and over again, using the same language.. Important points in the story were just jumbled and out of order with the rest of the text. Seem like the book was hastily thrown together and poorly edited.. Hopefully the author gets back to his normal cohesive, writing style and entertaining stories.

I loved it all. Every single word. I’ve listened to it at least twice already!

Disappointing

This was a very disappointing book. I have listened to the first two in the series and liked them so I was ready to try this one. The story repeated itself so much it became very annoying, inconsistencies in the story line and contradictions became annoying. It seemed liked a high school paper that was required to be so many words so it just kept repeating over and over. I hope the next two, alluded to by the author are better.
