Most of the stories did not make sense. The narrator sounds like a robot, did not put much emotion into the story

What feels almost reminiscent of Aesop’s fables, this book contains a wide variety of stories, mostly oral traditions that I’ve been passed down by various tribes. These stories give a glimpse into culture and tradition and understanding of where we come from and where we’re going and how to exist within that Web of life. Excellent narration, great stories, humorous, and thought provoking, and an easy introduction into understanding. The perspectives of native Americans. This book is also my Gateway drug, per se into native literature and his histories. A recommendation on the highest degree if if you enjoy understanding, fairytales mythology from all cultures, etc.
Please ignore the eye in the oral tradition section. I am not taking ownership.

Thoughtful, relevant, humorous tales, mythology

I liked that the many stories had slight variations also that the use of native languages brought it home.

I have listened to several audiobooks in this series and this one is my favorite. Each story was so beautiful, it sounded like a song about nature and men, sea breeze, wind and animals. Narrator did a great job telling these stories and giving voices to characters in legends of various Native American tribes. I Loved It.

Beautiful Collection, I Loved It
