Publisher's Summary

Nate Monson was gorgeous, obnoxiously wealthy, and a player. He was also the person who could destroy my world with a single decision.

I walked into that bar looking for him. He saw me. I saw him. The chemistry sizzled between us, but no.

I hated Nate Monson. I hated him with everything in me, even though my body did not. It didn't matter.

Nothing I wanted mattered. He thought I wanted to get laid. What I wanted was for him to disappear.

But first, I had to tell him that he had a daughter.

Meh..

Sorry, no spark. Listens like a clinical, formulaic romance book. Word count achieved nothing more.

Love Teddy & CJ as always.

Blaaahhh

I was very excited about this book. I love the narrator combo but the story was sooo layered unnecessary. Sooo all over the place. Very very little romance just a weird dynamic. Conflicting inner monologues are my absolute pet peeve. Honestly not my favorite book .

Lilac Love

This story held my attention for 2 days. It's full of angst, love, heartache 💔. But the ending was so satisfying. Nate and Quincey were brought together by the her sister's memory. Little Nova was the glue that held them together (and the intense live).

Another great story

Just like all the other books that Tijan writes this one was fantastic!! I loved being with the whole gang again and adding a few new people to the mix. Nate was wonderful, strong, confident, protective, these sides of him came out at the perfect time and he was so warm and loving with his little girl. Of course there were ups and downs like in all the stories and miscommunication, no communication, between some but it all worked out. I liked Quincy, I liked how she started out as this meek and quiet girl but grew more and more confident as the story went. I always forget how much I miss all the other characters, it was so nice that we got to hear about so much of their lives too in this book. The narrators did a fantastic job!!!!

Loved this book!

Tijan did it again! I read the reviews and I have to say most are accurate. The story is clinical in parts. but if you have gone through anything at all like it you'd understand. definitely doing a relisted!

It’s Great to Catch Up with the FC Family

I don’t think you need to have read/listened to any other book in the Fallen Crest universe, but it’s fun to know the background of some of the secondary characters.

Having a hottie that melts with a baby is so swoony! I love a family that pulls together to help each other, no questions asked. Family is more than just blood and we all need people like this in our lives.

Enjoyable Read

As always Tijan delivers another great story. I will actually need to listen to all of the Fallen Crest books to get the full grasp of characters. I enjoyed Nates story regardless of some of the reviews, you should read it for yourself and decide. I also could be biased as my favorite narrators take on the main characters roles.

I love Mason, Logan and Nate. The books surrounding them is just awesome. Hope there is more to follow. We need Mateo and Channing stories.

Light, easy and 100% enjoyable

Two words - Nate Monson. No. Make that four words - Nate Manson/Teddy Hamilton. Wow! Just perfect. Nate has always been a bit of an enigma, a mystery to solve in each every Fallen Crest Book, because let’s face it, he’s been in every one, always the sidekick to Mason or Logan, and I’ve been desperate for his story. Let me tell you, it was worth the wait. Nate was everything I expected and more, add in the fact that the whole gang has matured, it made for a friends with benefits read with a twist as Nate plays house in the strangest of circumstances. Of course there’s added drama and lots of emotional baggage, add in a cute baby, and hey presto, we have a truly awesome read. A light, easy audio that is a complete standalone, but as is always the case, better understanding of all characters will be gained if you’ve read the Fallen Crest series. Teddy Hamilton and CJ Bloom are perfect for Nate and Quincey

Fabulous!!

I've always loved reading books by Tijan and this seriously consolidated why I do. Her writing is amazing and the romances are so amazing there are no words for it. The narration was amazing. Having listened to Teddy Hamilton and CJ Bloom before, I was happy with their performance and think they fit the characters so well. This really blends in with a lot of Tijan books she has and it was cool knowing the background behind some of the characters. Quincey - the female protagonist - is seriously amazing and someone you fall in love with straight away. Note is similar, someone you find as overprotective and a teddy bear when he wants to be. There are moments in the story where Tijan has written the story and you can totally see the childishness in Nate when he is around his friends and relaxed. The story as a whole was amazing and something I would definitely recommend. I hope you decide to read this and find that you love it just as much as I do. Enjoy!!

Waited so long for this!

The fallen crest series is my forever favourite and I have been waiting to hear Nate’s HEA!

I have to admit it wasn’t what I thought it would be but I still enjoyed the book. I already loved Nate’s character from Fallen Crest but I fell in love with Quinsy too. She was such a beautiful soul and so caring.

I didn’t read rich prick first so I’m feeling like I’ve missed a lot about Nate’s past & family etc. I’m going to read it next though and hopefully it clears that up for me.

I also kinda felt like there was a big lead up for drama but nothing ever really happened. Compared to the other books I was expecting something pretty huge to happen but it didn’t and everything just kinda worked itself out. The story line also jumps forward a lot which was necessary I suppose for the story but a bit of a pet peeve for me. This was the case for the epilogue as well which I felt was super rushed but a HEA none the less!

The narrators performances were great. Two of my favs!

I definitely recommend reading the whole series from the start but it isn’t necessary if you don’t want to.
