Lovely Fun Romp with Fabulous Narrator

I have been waiting for the newest Alicia Cameron book, and here is the first in a delightful new series. AND it is read by the best narrator of this author’s books. I very much enjoyed this story. Now (sigh) I have to wait for the 2nd story.

Sweet, funny, family, relationships….

This audiobook was buried deep in my library and I have just gotten to it. A hidden gem, you might say. I love this book. Cute story, sweet romance! Helen Taylor is a favorite narrator.

do get this book . I love the storyline and the characters and I can't wait for the rest of the series to come out so I can binge listen.

Heartwarming, funny and very romantic

The vivid characters, the wit and warmth of this story raise it above other romances. Just lovely.

Excellent humorous story

Delightful story, excellent narrator, lots of humor provided by the candid remarks of the 8-year-old Berthe, who alternately stuns, horrifies, or amuses the various adults. Friendship s and a romance gradually grow between the large group of young adults unexpectedly sharing a large English country house, as initial impressions slowly shift.

It’s like reading a children’s book! I’m on chapter 7 and the 2 min characters have only had one very brief conversation! Also, they’re. (Distant) cousins! ICK!!!!!
