Exceptional Story & Listen🎧 Riveting & Heartfelt!

This is an outstanding debut novel, it is a well-written romance that not only captivated my attention for the entire book but it tugged on my heartstrings as well. I loved the originality of the story and that it offers so much more than your average romance novel. The characters and storylines are complex and sometimes intense, they are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with. Both lead characters were well developed, each broken in their own way, dealing with their own inner demons. There are some great secondary characters too. The author’s descriptive details bring you right alongside the characters, giving you an inside view of what they are thinking, feeling and experiencing, even making my heart pound at times. I was rooting for Arabel and Lorenzo the entire time and it was great to watch them grow into their own by the end, especially Arabel, who was a force to be reckoned with. I think it is best to go into this book knowing as little as possible, attach yourself to these characters and go with them on their journey, it is painful for them at times and rewarding at others, especially in the end. You would never know this is a debut novel, the story is well crafted and brilliantly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, thrilling and gut wrenching moments, heartfelt and emotional moments and a wonderful, not always easy, meant to be romance. Valentina, thank you for this exceptional story and emotional rollercoaster ride. I hope your next book comes to audio soon.

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Michael Ferraiuolo and Ramona Master were the perfect cast to bring these characters to life. They gave each character their own distinct voice, making it easy to follow along and tell who is who. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, taking each role and making it their own. Michael Ferraiuolo nailed it as Lorenzo, Italian accent and all, Ramona Master played Arabel with perfection as well, they both captured every emotion and had you feeling them. They were great at performing the roles of the secondary characters as well. These two talented voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this outstanding listen.

A BEAUTIFUL & BROKEN PHENOMENAL LOVE STORY

Firstly, I applaud this phenomenal author for this, her very first book.. for her descriptive scenes.. for the riveting range of raw and heartfelt emotions Lorenzo and Arabel went through on their journey to each other.. and for the beautiful and bitter-sweet growth that led to their happily ever after.

These are two very damaged people who have put a patch over their crippling pain in order to function and to live.. a single father and a woman and her sister fighting over the same property. When they first saw each other there was an instant fleeting click.. but when they first meet their souls saw the same passion, damage and raw vulnerabilities in the other. Their attraction is all-consuming and their chemistry is electric.. however, there are ghosts and demons in both their pasts that need to be exorcised too. There is also a haunting misplaced guilt that would need forgiveness and understanding.. there is anger, grief and walls that would have to be overcome brick by painful brick.. there is healing, hope, understanding, acceptance, strength, wisdom and trust for the brave that could lead to the light and rebirth.. and there is love if they are strong enough to claim it. So theirs is a journey that travels hot and cold, tender and touching, sexy and smouldering, heartbreaking and beautiful, angsty and angry and filled with impressive character growth and a sweet four yr old.

Worth a credit? Oh yes definitely.. there are twists, passion, pain, healing and the wealth of raw feels are endless. The dual POV narration was perfect and brought to life a very well-written first book turning into an awesome listen.. and I can’t wait for more from this new author. TRIGGER WARNING: there is a recounting of a brutal rape.

okay wow , what a ending. I can't believe who the guy was this whole time. that's some crazy $h!+. it like they say what goes around comes around, and boy did that guy get his. that was one crazy plot twist there. well the narrator's did a really good job too.

Heartbreaking - heed warnings ⚠️ 💔😢

This is the first audiobook I've read/listened to by Valentina. Wow. The emotional pull that one endures while listening is heavy. This is not a light and easy read/listen. I cried. I sobbed. But the were good parts...lighter parts where you smile. Such a great read. Well written with a good storyline and great characters. Looking forward to reading/listening to more by this author.

Warning...rape and suicide triggers.

Michael Ferraiuolo is a new to me narrator. He is an excellent performer. I will be watching for more from him!! Ramona Master is another excellent narrator. I always enjoy her performances. They brought this audiobook to life. It was incredible. I'll be listening to this one again in the future.

Naked Hearts by Valentina is a contemporary romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Michael Ferraiuolo and Ramona Master. This is the first book in Broken Hearts series and can be read as a standalone.

This is Valentina's debut novel and she knocked it out of the park. The book took me on an emotional rollercoaster that I never wanted to get off. I loved that relationship that bloomed between Arabel and Lorenzo. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait for the next book in the series Shadowed Hearts to be released on April 22, 2022 so I can get Mignon and Fox's story.

Michael and Ramona did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

Wow! This book was emotional. This book may contain triggers for some people. It reflects on overcoming grief in healthy and unhealthy situations. Ari and Enzo were drawn together at the first look. They both thought they were to damaged to be loved or to love again. They helped each other to learn to love again. Even though this book was very tragic I loved where it ended. I am intrigued to see what the next book will be about. Ramona Masters and Michael Ferraiuolo did absolutely amazing with the accents.
