Detective D. D. Warren has four days to stop a killer in this “shocking…‘must read’”* from #1 New York Times bestselling author Lisa Gardner—one of Library Journal's Best Thrillers of the Year.

Charlene Grant believes she is going to die. For the past few years, her childhood friends have been murdered one by one. Same day. Same time. Now she’s the last of her friends alive, and she’s counting down the final four days of her life until January 21st.

Charlene doesn’t plan on going down without a fight. She has taken up boxing, shooting, and running. She also wants Boston’s top homicide detective, D. D. Warren, to handle the investigation.

But as D. D. delves deeper into the case, she starts to question the woman’s story. Instinct tells her that Charlene may not be in any danger at all. If that’s true, the woman must have a secret—one so terrifying that it alone could be the greatest threat of all.

it's a good story with really good narration. Am a Lisa Gardner fan to the nth. degree. Her stories get you involved with the characters and that is what I like the most about her writing style. The book itself was a little predictable but still enjoyable. Kirsten Potter is a great narrator which makes the book hold your interest. Overall is worth the listen.

Would you consider the audio edition of Catch Me to be better than the print version?

I love listening to Kirsten Potter she does such a fabulous job with Lisa's work. I did not read the printed version so I couldn't answer that. The only thing I can say is Lisa's writing is soooooo amazing I am sure it would be just as good.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

As usual with all of Lisa's books, it most certainly did!! I could not stop listening. It is so sad when the book comes to an end, you just want it to go on forever. In my opinion no one compares to Lisa Gardner. She has a way of putting you right there and keeping you there. I loved everything about this book!

Have you listened to any of Kirsten Potter’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, she is fantastic. The fact that she is reading for Lisa makes it even better!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Hard to say, there were several. It amazes me that her books just keep getting better and better. How does she do it?

This is the first book I've listened to by Lisa Gardner. I loved this book. It started off a little slow, but picked up quickly with the suspense and character development. This was one of those where I had a few theories of where I thought it was headed, but in the end, wasn't quite on the mark... in the ball park, yes... but not quite on the bulls eye. As some other reviewers have mentioned, there are a lot of topics intertwined in this book, but I thought the author pulled it off nicely without confusing the listener. Every aspect of the story had it's place in adding substance to the climax and the author did a nice job of tying the loose ends in the resolution. I didn't find it hard to follow, and I found the story very suspenseful. At first it seems a little disjointed, but, like I said, the author does a nice job of braiding it all together and rather quickly you see how everything fits together. I highly recommend this book. I will be reading (listening) to more books from this author.

Very well done

This is one of the best books I’ve listened to on audible. I love Lisa Gardner’s writing style and her sense of humor. Kirsten Potter is one of my favorites narrator. A story can only be more enjoyable with Kirsten as the story teller. Highly recommended.

A very suspenseful book
