Myopic

This was a really good short book.It was about aliens contacting an author, to plead their case in helping them save earth. Rachel Alena was a fine narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.'

Great narrator, simple story

For me, the narrator is always the most important in an audiobook. This narrator does a great job and she is very easy to listen to. The story here is somewhat simple with a strong dose of global warming activism. The “science” component is a bit on the week/simplistic side. You just have to ignore that to get the most out of it.

Bazinga

I enjoyed this short story. I could visualize everything as the narrator brought the story to life. The plot was interesting and kept me engaged for the most part. I wondered off a couple of times and had to rewind. Overall it was a satisfactory story. It was a short 35 minute listen at my listening speed. The narrator did a fine job and I have no complaints. Disclaimer: I've been listening at 2x speed for so long anything else sounds like slow motion. My enjoyment of the narrator is based on my listening speed. I only leave 5 stars for books I've listened to multiple times. I'll update my review if I listen again. I requested this book from the author, narrator, or publisher in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.

Great Concept in Short Form

The environment matters and we need to be aware of our effect has on it. This is a mix of romance, hope and sci-fi. It would be better served if it took one or two of these out. The plot is rushed and could really benefited from more mania, panic or urgency. It was cobbled together making the reader/listener make the jumps.

interesting sci-fi short story

The Narrator did a really good job. The book was an interesting sci-fi story, light, some details, main character development. I'll be interested in reading some of his other books.

myopic

This was a short entertaining story that had my mind clicking and my heart racing a bit. I was sad fot Wilfred, because he almost had it all, but at least he was happy and he and his girlfriend were heros imo. Not what I expected, but I enjoyed it. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this story and am giving an honest review. The narrator was good.

Interesting premise

Is it insanity or true aliens? Myopic is a great title that fits the story. The author writes about a myopic writer, which gives some great depth to the story. I liked the premise, and listening to this story, I give praise to the author and the narrator. Sometimes you just have to sit back and listen, and enjoy, and that's what I did with this story. It's a journey of faith in oneself and what is out there, the unknown. I enjoyed the story and the narrator engaged the reader with the drama.

Too short, but so awesome!

Wilford diamond Sits in his dirty apartment and thinks he’s seeing things. Little micro organisms are talking to him and telling him only he has the type of brain that can see them. They come to warn him that another alien species will come not out of hatred or revenge but to rid the world of poisons so it won’t spread to other planets. He tells him there’s a time limit, but he does have time to save the world. Bing he’s a great writer, he set out to write a book thanking his audience will get what he saying. He usually writes thrillers and it’s really good at it, but when he decides the right side by his agent is skeptical but allows it. It’s a smash hit; only for his audience to be upset with Him when he announces that it isn’t Syfy it’s non-fiction and everything in the book is true. Little organisms are going to come and write a print planet of all planet life and leave us with nothing. With just enough energy to stop the death. This book is so powdery good he meets his girlfriend at a book signing and she’s the only one who believes his message she is an EPA scientist and hang on his every word until he tries to convince her his book is the truth. Thank goodness she finally believes him now he has a partner in crime so to speak. I have read many books by Gary Starta And then this one we get to see his wet and a riding style I am not used to from him but was still just as awesome as the android sisters which is also a very good book. This book is so worth the credit it is a easy lesson and one you can listen to in one sitting because you don’t want to put it down. This is easily a five star audiobook the narrator did such a great job I loved her voice and she did it with such a great story. I highly recommend it.
