Great twists
This was an excellent read. The characters were developed, the twists were many, the writing was well done, and the NARA raider was excellent! If you like twisty thrillers, this is unique and I recommend it.

Fantastic narration. Nicely paced story.
Due to my own trauma, I had to skip the odd chapters that dealt with the protagonist's time at the barn, but listened fully to every "then" chapter after that. I don't think it took anything away from the storyline for me, so anyone who has been a victim of abuse or violence and who could be triggered, please note that skipping those is a valid option!
I enjoyed that there were some nice twists and turns interspersed with some cozy predictability as well. It really held my attention throughout, and the narration was top notch. Just wanted the characters to be fully fleshed out and a bit more dynamic.
Still, it was a memorable story; I'd be happy to read more from this author.

Wickedly twisted
