Over all okay book

Will say it was painful to hear the narrator give North Dakota residents a full on Canadian accent. than miss pronouncing sakakawea is just getting old.

Author seems to enjoy writing books with toxic relationships. Expects heroin to deal with people she doesnt want too, just because she loves the sister dearly. That is a toxic relationship

Funny, engaging, romantic and a great narrator

I just finished listening to this title - and one of the few that I had to alternately turn off so that I could pace and calm down or rewind to listen to that last bit again. The author captures the beauty of Montana and Martha's Vineyard as well as she captures the inner turmoil of an adult who thinks she has it all together, but it's just because she's never faced the pain that has shaped her life. I just discovered Kristan Higgins last year and am now working my way through her back list - every time she draws me in with laughter then hits me upside the head with depth and reality. Xe Sands is one of the best narrators out there (and I have listened to many) - I now choose books because she is the narrator.

Such an incredible story. Just when I thought I knew what was going to happen next... something unexpected happened. Very heart warming.

A fun love story. It has laugh out loud moments, sweet moments, and it hooks you in from the start. It could make a great romantic comedy movie!

I liked the story but hated the numerous times she said crotchety. It really irritated me.

Fun Book

if looking for good romance without all the dirty sex play this is the book. it is fun and super romantic. I wish there was a second book about the other couples.

Totally enjoyable book. Made me smile. Towards the end I couldn’t put it down because I HAD to know what was going to happen.

smart and funny

it's hard to find mature, smart and funny romances. this is one of them. the only thing that I didn't like was the ex husband failing to fully recognize the part he played in the couple's divorce. otherwise, it was a really good story.

Enjoyed the story. Well-written beach read. I thought the narration was excellent as well. I recommend.
