Beautiful story

It was easy listening and a few twists too..very much a entertaining and fun listen

A Pain-filled Story, Very Real

I often questioned whether to continue this story as it crashed and burned in increasing waves. I am so glad I persevered and finished the book. The pain is real, as tragedies in life are real. Julia Roberts captures the anguish of each situation and reveals the beauty for ashes, the good as well as the difficult and tragic. Having had dementia in our family, I must admit that Julia does an admirable job of portraying its aspects. This book is not for the faint of heart, so buck up, Buttercup. You'll be glad you did. Deep emotion is never easy. Here's a book that will change your opinions more than once.

A treasure

absolutely loved it all. Making us,aware of the struggle of the disease and the family bring life around in a full circle.

Touching

This story had me crying from almost the beginning. It gave such voice to so much of my childhood with my mother and older brother. It helped heal some of those past wounds.

Enjoyed

Slow to start but picks up and has a great ending. I would recommend it.
