Mad Maggie

I really enjoyed this story. Curses, and madness, betrayal and plots kept me rooted to the end. Great narration and my very favorite a HEA. The characters were great. I couldn’t help but root for Gabriel and Maggie as they uncovered plots and secrets and their feelings for one another.

Great Story

This story took quite a while to unfold but when it did, it was beautiful. A lunatic bride, a curse on a family line, and a despot hungry for more power: What could possibly go wrong? I loved the characters as well as the storyline.
My first book by Miriam Minger and I’ll be back for more.
I didn’t enjoy the Audible narrator as much as others. In my opinion her voice was not suited to this genre.

Funny and entertaining

The narrator’s voice. Not fitting for the setting, but absolutely enjoy the story. Looking forward to more books from the author.

If I never hear the word “mayhap” again, it will be too soon

Story was good. Performs: meh. Narrator got mixed up a few times between her Scottish and American accents. But if they said “mayhap” once they said it 100 times. I started cringing every time I heard it.

Great story!

After I accepted that the heroine was a sensitive soul, the book flowed beautifully and I nearly cried at chapter 24!

the way the reader made me feel I was on the edge of my seat. I would listen to this again.

Good mild spicy story

This book had a very good story. The characters in the story drew me in. I normally like to have my historical romance novels a lot more spicier. I really did like the two main characters love story, but I just wanted more.

I’m not gonna name names, but this book has so many different twist and turns in it’s so much emotion at times funny at times scary and sometimes you’ll think you’ll never get a good ending. There’s so many twist and turns here but it’s a great story and you wanna keep listening all you can. So sit back and enjoy because this is gonna take you on a real highland chase!
