I loved this story. The inflections of the narrators was fantastic. Jesse has been burned in love before. He bought his house from a woman named Lou, she never had children but her best friend had a daughter, Casey, that she adored. After her mom died she found Lou again. When Jesse bought the home, Lou requested that he keep the apartment instead of turning it into one big home. She knew Casey needed a place to land. And boy howdy, did she land. They bicker and banter, they hmm, well, you get it. But they defend each other against the world. It's a wonderful story.
