On the edge of my seat!

this is an awesome book. turn after turn you keep guessing. from someone who doesn't like to read the readers are amazing.

Just ok

The premise was interesting enough but the execution left much to be desired. The characters did not feel real, and I think it was too long for what it was.

Kept me guessing

This was a good book, and I was not anticipating how it would keep me guessing all the way to the end. I really enjoyed it.

Captivating

I was intrigued and captivated the whole time. Couldn't wait to find out the ending. It was interesting to have a story where you can kinda sympathize with the bad guy. The only criticism for the performance of the audio was the voice the guy for Sebastian used for the kids was super annoying and didn't seem quite right. Other than that, the audio performance was good.

Crazy stressful in a good way!

Good, but unsatisfying ending

Fast paced and interesting with several plot twists….love. But the ending was so meh…the book just ended with no true resolve….don’t want to say more and spoil it for others.

Great, but the ending was just Ok.

The story was great and the narration was top notch. The plot was interesting, well written with a lot of twists and turns, leaving you wanting more. My only drawback was the ending. The ending was just ok. Without spoiling the book, it left me with more questions, and it felt as though it was quickly wrapped up. Would have loved a better, more satisfying ending.

Extremely disappointing as it progressed

I started out really liking the story. I was really engaged, but as it started winding down and they started revealing things it was just such a disappointment and let down. I am sorry that I started.

Read this if you like loose ends

I liked this story, and it definitely held my attention until the end. It was interesting to have an entire novel unfold over the span of a few hours, and the flash-forward scenes helped a lot with pacing. However, some of the surprising revelations were so far-fetched, and lots of loose ends were left at the end. Perhaps the author meant to "leave us hanging" to create suspense, but I just felt unsatisfied.
