This was interesting.

Our FMC is hiking with her boyfriend who by the way is a jerk when he leaves her behind to fend for herself!!! She finds herself caught up in a monsters obsession but she is into it.

Not a lot of romance but it was interesting

My Boyfriends Are All Monsters is a short book. I listened to the audible version and I think the narrator really brought Lucy's personality to life. She has no more foxes to give, she's going to seize life with both hands when given a chance.

Lucy isn't aware of what the ancient, super-powerful being is up to for most of the story. And when Hemlock finally shows his hand she's rightfully terrified. Then after a short discussion she's all in for whatever being with Hemlock entails. So this is silly and with little believable romance. But there are a lot of interesting aspects to the book and I still enjoyed it.

Fun with a hot finish

Honestly, there isn't a Kimberly Lemming book I haven't enjoyed. This is a quick little novella with laughs and charm with a hot, sexy finish and I truly enjoyed it. The narration was fantastic. The MMC had me blushing I must admit. The only reason it's not a full five stars across the board is because I wanted some more! But it's supposed to be short and quick because it's a novella. I was just personally being greedy lol.

The voice acting is peak

I forcibly laughed out loud multiple times at the hilarious female voice actor. The male narrator has such a deep, velvety voice but is also able to flawlessly voice a crow. This is a perfect spooky season short story where the spice be spicing. I'll be listening to this one over and over.

That ending though

To be honest I had no idea where the story was going and this was my first time reading this author. Definitely won’t be my last time reading and I thoroughly enjoyed that ending. What a fun little series of short stories!
