When a local artist is found murdered, Maud and Daisy become convinced the two cases are connected. Searching for the link between the deaths, will Maud and Daisy solve the case before another mysterious murder takes place?

A Scottish history leston is gently woven throughout the well-crafted and enjoyably read mystery. Fans of Sherlock Holmes will enjoy!

Still enjoyable

Enough mystery and humor to keep us entertained and guessing. Yes, we did know who the killer was, but it was still a relaxing read.

Fun Story

This my second book of this author and I’m really enjoying the series . It’s a great fun woman’s detective adventure. The narration is wonderful ! She has a super accent for all the characters. I will be buying her next book in the series . This is a clean story without any smutty none sense !!

Enjoyable Characters

Back for round 2. Overall, very fun and it is great good continuation from the 1st book.

Personally, I do not feel the detective jobs were as solid as the 1st. But I did like the countryside setting, I did like seeing the return of a certain character (beyond Maud and Daisy).

I do feel that this is turning into a very enjoyable series. I see I have 1 book to go, but I do hope that Lydia Travers continues to write the series.

As with the last book, Helen McAlpine is an outstanding narrator. A winning performance!

Captivating & Enjoyable

Love the way several storylines are tied together with interesting characters! thoroughly enjoy the narrator also!

Almost passed but glad I didn’t

At first Maude’s voice seemed too uptight, but Daisy balances and enhances the performance and the voices work well together. Love the story line and multiple plots that may or may not be connected.

Excellent story, story writing, and performance. Just like the first one. I am so glad I found this series.
