Something is lacking
I just cannot get into the characters in the Evie Parker books. I have listened to two at this point and find most of the characters to be uninteresting and shallow. Only grandmama comes to life. I keep comparing these books to the Nancy Drew mysteries that I enjoyed when I was 10. Now I want better quality of writing. I will be returning the first two on the series as well as the third to which I have not listened.
