this series has all the right elements and the reader is extraordinary -voices areao distinct. Plus Cleo is my hero and it's exciting that she might be getting some love action soon...

So happy that Cleo and Harry’s relationship has moved forward. I was getting so tired of the back and forth re: their feelings for each other. Also enjoyed the story and the realization who murdered the gamekeeper.

I love the mystery, the intrigue, and the fact that the author can tell the story without all the unnecessary cussing and sex. what a refreshing story that is about great writing!

I have enjoyed this series and look forward to the next book. I love the Audible and this has been my favorite so far.

Enjoyable Story

This particular book was lighthearted and told sone truth for the mid 1800’s. I adore the Cleopatra Fox series. Its worth the read

Amazing series!

I never thought I'd read a series with this many books in it, but here we are! from the fleshed out characters to the story, it is all incredibly engaging even when I'm exhausted. And the narrator is so talented! I can't wait for the next installment of this series, and to find out what mystery Cleo and her friends (and lover) will find themselves in next!

I can't wait to see what happens next and I love that it's clear it will continue!! characters are great, and side characters are continuing to develop and play roles. so good, refreshing and endearing. the reader is awesome as well - lovely accent and take on other characters

So wonderful of a series, I’m listening multiple times. Incredible period accuracy along with fleshed out characters, strong mysteries and fun drama. Impressed with the way the women are portrayed; with complex relationships with each other, their own individual personalities, and their own personal strengths and struggles the women characters are the lead in this book in particular!

So happy to see the story of Cleo and Harry continue. I love this series and wish we didn’t have to wait 6 months for the next book. Please continue to write this series CJ. Amazing series.
