Highly recommended if you like cozy mysteries!

This was actually the first cozy mystery I've read since, like . . . forever. No kidding! I always knew I'd like cozy mysteries, though, and Murder Takes a Selfie didn't disappoint! This was a super cute and quirky story that's both clean and exciting. And talk about Parker's accent in the audiobook version! His voice alone was worth it all. 😏😂 I'm definitely looking forward to continuing with this series!

Super fun Cozy mystery!

Can I just tell you that this book was so much fun?!!! I loved it! I’ve been eyeing it since it was released and just have so many other books that are on my list that I’ve wanted to add it in. I’m so glad I finally did! I had the audiobook and enjoyed listening to it with my family while we were driving on a long road trip! So much fun! Even my hubby was engaged and wanting to know what would happen next.

We had fun guessing whodunnit and what was going to happen next. Lots of great predictions and some of them were right. My family loves murder mysteries and we love to make our predictions during the first 5 minutes of the story. We’ve gotten pretty decent at guessing correctly.

Esther and Sophie are high school students and best friends. They are super cute characters. I loved listening further into the story and learning more about their relationship. I loved how the author portrayed insecurities and struggles and such between these teens. They were very spot on. But I loved, even more so, how she resolved these struggles and insecurities. Love, love love!!!

The narrator was delightful and truly brought this story to life for us!

Esther even has a little bit of a high school crush and a date. She and Parker are pretty cute together. I can’t wait to see more of them together and all of these characters that I’ve come to love and enjoy!

If you’re looking for a fun cozy mystery with wonderful characters this is a must! And it’s great for many ages. My kids enjoyed it as well!

Content: Clean. There are a couple mentions of a pastor and the character praying/thinking about God. Nothing preachy at all, it fits in perfect with the story and is just a brief mention. There is a murder and some suspense but nothing graphic or overly intense, appropriate for many ages.

I received a copy from the author. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.

Happy Reading!!!
