Publisher's Summary

Mirabelle Daws travelled all the way from Australia to Sheridan Square to visit her sister - only to die in the middle of a locked garden. All the residents of Sheridan Square have a key to the garden - but no-one seemed to know that Mirabelle was planning to arrive.

So the question facing Mrs. Jeffries and Inspector Witherspoon is: who wanted to make sure that Mirabelle's visit was very, very short-lived?

A great listen

Love this series of books. Easy listening with twists and turns in the plot. The narrator brings the different characters to life.

Cosy but ...

The Mrs Jefferies books are basic, harmless listening. The stories lighthearted but engaging as is this one.

Unfortunately, the narrator has changed and I really struggle to enjoy Marlene Sidaway’s character accents, raspy and blurred.. I am disappointed in the change and struggle to see myself buying the others

Do try and see what you think the books are enjoyable.
