Each book in Piper Rayne's The Nest series just gets better and better. I was so excited for Mr. Swoony's book, and they did not disappoint! Loved how Conor steps in to help Eloise at her bachelorette party, which leads to them spending a (totally innocent but unforgettable) night together, When Conor rushes to the church and objects to the wedding, it gives Eloise the out she was looking for. I love the characters, and the sharing of the bucket list items. Love the humor and LOL moments -- the team convos and how the guys bust each other's b@lls, and the grumpy abrasive bar owner, Ruby, who watches out for them all. Also love Tweetie's funny, snarky one-liners. Looking forward to his book next.

The duet/multicast narration led by Luci Christian Bell (new to me) and Connor Crais as Eloise and Conor was wonderful. CJ Bloom, JF Harding, Sean Masters, Troy Duran, and Teddy Hamilton round out the all-star cast. The audio was lots of fun, easy to listen to, and my favorite of the series so far. Very enjoyable.

A Swoon Worthy Story

Piper Rayne does it again with the third book in The Nest series. Connor Crais & Luci Christian Bell along with Teddy Hamilton, CJ Bloom, JF Harding, Sean Masters, & Troy Duran. Connor & Luci are Conor & Eloise. They did an incredible job bringing these characters to life. This is the first time I have listened to Luci and she captured Eloise perfectly. Connor was terrific for the lovable Conor. They both had great chemistry & showing off the emotions, banter, & humor. Along with the rest of the cast, the audiobook was perfection.
I never did a stop the wedding trope. I loved how Piper Rayne wrote these characters. Eloise being a yes person, and marrying a man she wasn’t sure she truly loved. Conor having an instant connection to someone he never thought he would have. I love how they end up as roommates and then taking a chance with each other.
The writing was amazing and Piper Rayne once again connected all these characters together so well, that you wish you were a part of this family.

Loved it!

Another great addition to the Nest series. I was hooked immediately and didn’t want to put it down! I got the audio so I wouldn’t have too! The narrators did an amazing job bringing this story to life! They really made me feel like I was right there! I absolutely adored Conor and Eloise! Conor is definitely book boyfriend worthy and lives up to the Mr. Swoony title! If you’re in the mood for sports, band of brothers, close proximity, love at first sight, roommates to lovers romance make sure to check this one out.

Great narrators

The story was all the more entertaining with multiple narrators, including some from her other hockey romance novels. Plot was different from other stories because of the love at first sight leading to disrupted nuptials. I’ve seen this happen in real life! But I must admit, boy meets girl, rescues and protects girl, and then marries her is a bit tiring (it runs through many of these books). Ruby the bar owner is a hilarious and refreshing character!

My goodness was he swoony too. This story was so sweet with just an absolute golden retriever of an MMC. I really loved how they began and how they ended and thought they were perfect for each other.

I'm not usually one for other woman/man drama, but I really liked how this one was handled. Conor has a stalker and while things get dicey for a bit, Eloise ultimately trusts Conor (as she should) and that's that on the silly drama.

This was a full cast audio and so well done. I absolutely loved this listen.

Piper Rayne has done it again. Mr. Swoony is an slow burn, roommates to lovers, instant connection beautifuly written book. After Mr. Broody I was so excited to read Connor's book. Although he has this playboy exterior he is truly sweet, caring, and kind especially to those he loves.

From the first chapter where Eloise and Connor meet to the last chapter of their story there is chemistry. One thing I absolutely loved about this book was the communication between Conor and Eloise through out the book and the growth that they both have.

The way that Conor doesn't pressure Eloise but is there for her as she navigates a new begining is so wholesome. I was definitely swooning throughout this book.

Like always Piper Rayne does an outstanding job not only with the relationship between the FMC & MMC but also the relationship with all the side characters. I love that the side characters have an important role in the story along side the main characters.

If you are someone who loves a good slow burn, I object/ runaway bride, found family, Romates to Lovers, Swoony MMC, and a FMC who wants someone to love her for herself I highly recommend you read this book. Even though you can 100% read this book as a standalone, I recommend reading Mr. Heartbreaker & Mr. Broody first. 💚

This series will forever have a place on my top 5 all time favorite series! Thank you Piper for writing incredible stories for us.

I did also listen to the audiobook that includes a full cast narration and wow it was so good and brought so much to the book!

I am truly looking forward to Tweetie & Tedi's story.

Piper Rayne is my new favorite!!
