The plot of the book is well-crafted, and the pacing is excellent. The author keeps the reader engaged throughout the story by introducing various twists and turns. The characters are well-developed, and the dialogue is witty and engaging. The descriptions of the Hawaiian landscape and culture are vivid, and the author successfully creates a sense of place that adds to the overall ambiance of the book.
One of the strengths of the book is the portrayal of Adrian Monk. The character is complex and layered, and the author captures his phobias and quirks with sensitivity and authenticity. The story is is plotted out well.
The narrator does a good job.
The only reason I give this book a 4 stars instead of 5 is the over use of the word "said", but that might just be me.
If you like MONK the series, or the other MONK novels, you will have fun listening to this installment.
