For centuries Jane Austen's classic novel, Pride and Prejudice, has been dearly loved he world over. However, few people know the hidden truth about Mr. Darcy's closest friend, the affable Mr. Bingley—who is much more than he appears on first impression.

Mr. Bingley: Just as a Gentleman Ought to Be is the previously untold story of a young man who unwittingly uncovers an evil cabal among the British Empire's aristocracy. Bingley finds himself confronting an enterprise so nefarious, he cannot help but act to redress it, even if it costs him his own reputation and the love of his life, the angelic Miss Jane Bennet.

Follow Mr. Bingley down a rabbit hole of intrigue and corruption, as he fights to protect the country's most vulnerable alongside friends old and new. Can he set things right before he loses Jane forever?

This was a very exciting and suspenseful story which had me on the edge of my earphones worried for Mr Bingley’s safety on more than one occasion. It’s full of intrigue adventure and mystery but it was not very romantic. There wasn’t much dialogue or time spent between Bingley and Jane or Darcy and Elizabeth. Though both gentlemen spoke or thought of their devotion many times. Ben Fensome’s narration was fantastic and it heightened the level of suspense and excitement.

Very suspenseful

Truly enjoyed the story and its diversion from the historical classic. The narrator Ben Fensome is talented and able to flex his acting abilities to suit the needs of each character. I have already restarted the story to pick up what I may have missed during the initial experience. Do you want to see Mr. Bingley in a new and expanded light? Grab this book and enjoy your ride!

I really don't like versions where there is a bad Bingley. fi ally we get to see the real Bingley! Story involves Bingley being a type of clever superhero amidst the backdrop of P and P.

I hope the author writes more and the narrator was wonderful and has his own YouTube channel

very clever and highly engaing

This is a such a fun story and I love that it adds to the Pride and Prejudice story with a little more background for Mr Bingley (and Darcy, too). But I cannot say enough enough about the narration by Ben Fensome. He is a treasure!

Still smiling

Loved the narrator and his multiple characters portrayed. The story captured your attention right away and it was exciting/ interesting to see vigilante action in Regency times play out.

Fun and imaginative of a familiar world.
