A real winner!
Came across this series by accident and so glad I did! The author does a great job presenting plenty of suspects - even when you're sure who the guilty is/are, you'll find yourself wondering if you're wrong at least once along the way. She also does a fabulous job of representing the Oregon coast in its many iterations.
Matt Haynes, as always, does a wonderful job giving voice to the characters.

A good series close to home
There just aren’t enough good series that take place on my home turf and this is one of them. Really like the reader as well, he puts a lot of nuance into his interpretation of the story.

If you want to book that Haz mystery combined with a little bit of romance and some humor, this is your series. I couldn’t wait for this one to come out and it’s just as good as all the rest. I love these books love them love them love them.

Another Fantastic Read!
Kay is such a gifted writer who keeps you guessing until the end. The story line and characters are so well developed- just another fantastic read. I love this series so much I got a friend hooked and she finished the entire series in a just a few weeks. Her books never disappoint! The cherry on top for me in Mourning Bay was to have a character named after me (I am the person who won her contest). It’s like seeing/ hearing your name up in lights. Waiting with anticipation for the next installment in this series!

Loved this book!!
My mother got me started on this series and I love it!! I live on the Oregon coast so it is easy for me to picture what this area is like especially with the detailed descriptions given in this book. I’m very much looking forward to the next one!!
