Publisher's Summary

My cheating ex has me swearing off men. Until Lewis comes along, stealing my breath and my good sense.

I've never been one to lust after guys. But Lewis is six-and-a-half feet of rugged man, and he's...eye-catching. Sexy. And silently brooding in all the best ways.

The more time I spend with him, the naughtier my thoughts are of us together, and he's not helping put a stop to it. It's infuriating. I'm fantasizing and lusting, and I can't remember why I wanted to stay away.

But Lewis carries his own relationship baggage. Baggage that could break me in ways no ex-boyfriend ever did.

Despite all the reasons I shouldn't get involved, Lewis might be the one man I can't resist.

Excerpt:

He tugs down his shorts - and goes completely naked.

He glances up. "You can stay in your panties. I'm getting clean.... What? I trust you not to grope me." He grins.

Previously titled Mountain Man.

TOO YOUNG ADULT FOR ME

Any additional comments?

There was a good start to this book however five hours in and it's still on the same bland track. Its a good book for YA but not what I expected. The preview was very very misleading. I'm skeptical about getting any of the others in the series.

This is a disturbing book for females.

Why do you create such weak female characters. Why do you condone not going to the police and reporting. Why must It escalate...? The storyline is thin the situations are not flushed out. It’s horrible advice for women. There’s so much in this book that disturbs me.

Too slow of build up with no climax!

This story was all over the place, there were about 20 chapters that did not add to the story at all. It almost turned me off with the rest of the series.

Captivating NA Romance

Would you listen to Blue Crush again? Why?

I would definitely listen to this again not only for the story but Charlotte North's performance had me captivated from start to finish.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Blue Crush?

The most memorable moment was when Gen had her revelation that she was strong enough to stand up for herself not only physically but mentally.

What about Charlotte North’s performance did you like?

I loved her performance. This is the first time I've listened to her and I was drawn in from the very start. Her inflections were perfect, she smoothly moved from one character to the next and I was never confused on who was speaking.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes

Any additional comments?

Gen and Lewis were a fun couple with good chemistry. There was some drama, both good and bad that kept me turning the pages and the Lake Tahoe location is a fun setting.

Glad it was free

Not believable. "He was there for her when she needed him like no one before. " But he wasn't. Annoying story

great series

I loved this book as well as the entire series. It kept a great story line and interest without being over the top. It was great how they gave hints of the other stories without having read them.

too much of a recap

This 2nd book in series feels like a recap of the first book. It's from Gen's perspective but just goes over the events with little new material. This makes it boring. There was so much room for a fun story. So much room to pick up were the first book left off. This book fails to do this. chapter 15 or so begins to be a new story.

Definitely Tested My Patience, but Good Story

This is a good story but definitely seems to be geared towards the more drama-loving folks. The “teen angst” bits reminded me of the time I decided to watch Twilight out of curiosity and I swear it nearly killed me. So if Twilight almost killed you, too, be prepared. Anyway, it was a little more melodramatic than the first book so I wanted to forward a few times but just a few. It’s a good story and finally ended pretty well. And as a great bonus, it looks like the bad guy from this and the first book is going to get his well deserved punishment. I’m hoping we get to hear about that in the next book. Fingers crossed!

It was good but…

It seemed to take forever to get to the point.
I liked the dynamics of the characters, but felt that there was a lot not described enough. It was kind of like ‘so, it’s been x amount of days and all of this happened.’ I would’ve liked to have known how the characters dealt with that, especially Mira dealing with Lewis and Gen’s relationship. We were just told she was coming to terms with it.
Well, even though I thought the story was good, I don’t think I’m invested enough to find out what happens after the cliffhanger.

Wow

Really enjoyed this book. Loved that they had the hots for each other instantly. Lewis was determined to have Gen and keep her safe. Loved the Gen could see through to him the person.
Loved the drama and the mix of friends. Great read.
Narration was awesome too.
