Very encouraging.

Just what my heart needed during this season. I purchased the audiobook and just put the physical book in my cart…I just HAVE to revisit all the wonderful books and verses she shared. Very well-thought-out, and full of experiences that will connect with nearly every mom. So good.

Favorite real, practical, spiritual

From start to finish it was engaging and I could relate in so many instances to Jennifer's real honest truth! This is in the top 2 of my favorite homeschool, Charlotte Mason, Holy Spirit, truth led books! She shares real and practical advice. Not just to do's, but how to's! Thank you Jennifer for being raw & real with us all. For sharing the hard stuff that we all struggle with!

Very unique book!

I really liked this book! It was refreshing bc I’ve never read a book like it! It was completely unique in how it tied in literature, scripture, and stories from the author. Very relatable as well and it also gave booklists for mom and kids! Way to go Jennifer and thank you for choosing to be brave and write this! I want to get a hard copy of the book also bc of all the practicals and I may want to reread it in the future.

Encouraging but a Bit Overdone

Mothering by the Book offers a refreshing perspective on letting go of fear in motherhood, with some great reminders to trust God in the process. The literary references were a unique touch, and there were definitely moments of encouragement throughout.

That said, some parts felt overly dramatic and repetitive, which made it a bit of a slower read. I also expected a stronger Christ-centered focus in certain sections. Still, it’s an enjoyable and uplifting book for moms who love literature and need reassurance in their parenting journey.

A must read for any mother

Such an important reminder to look the fears we encounter in the face and remember the bravery we’ve learned about before stepping forward in faith.
