Great story

Another fun story to listen to in the MomCom series. Teddy Hamilton and Maxine Mitchell were fantastic bringing this story to life and I devoured the entire thing in one day. I highly recommend.

Jenni gives us the story of Dylan and Cortney. Dylan is a free spirit that believes the universe has a plan she just didn’t realize it’s plan was for her to have a life altering change after meeting Cortney. Cortney “Man Bun” is the gorgeous catcher for the Boston Revs. After he goes to her house to try and find his “lucky” socks he finds himself taking her to his place for a drink and “friendly” game of pool. Soon, Dylan learns that she walked away the next morning with more than just a smile on her face.

Cortney moves into the brownstone with Dylan, her best friends, Beckett “Bossman” Langfield, seven kids and a pregnant raccoon. He falls hard and fast for his firefly but it isn’t just Dylan that he needs to convince that he loves her and will always be there, he must also convince Liam, her teenage son. Slowly over time, Cortney proves himself to him through his actions of love towards him and his mom.

This book has everything that you never knew you needed. There is laughter, a few tears (but I am a crier at anything swoony), friendship, love, family, did I say laughter, oh and did I forget to mention the spice… and lots of cherry jolly ranchers and cherry Slurpees.

I loved everything about this book. The female friendships, the funny banter, the adorably cute and sometimes scary kiddos, the heart melting men and the love.

The audio is performed in perfect duet by Maxine Mitchell and Teddy Hamilton. Maxine, as always, was amazing. Navigating between all of the female characters with such ease and utter perfection. Teddy was the absolute perfect choice as Cortney. My favorite scene was when he was speaking to her stomach, it had me in tears.

Blue Nose Audio has once again given us a flawlessly produced audiobook. They give us, the romance listener, next level listening experiences.

You do not want to miss out on this book or this series. Trust me…. This is a must read!

Another amazing Mom Com book
Cortney is the best catcher in the league and is playing for Beckett (from mother makers) baseball team. This is where he meets Dylan. The hippie momma of the group with a 15 year old from a rich dead beat dad who wants nothing to do with them.
When one freeing night out Dylan lets the universe take over and after a hook up, she finds out she’s pregnant. This is where Cortney does all he can to prove to Dylan that he will be an amazing dad, possible partner and be there for them in anyway possible.
This book is fun, FUNNY, sweet and sexy.
Teddy Hamilton is top tier for me and him as Cortney is perfect, the sexy hotshot baseball player with a sweet side, teddy does it perfectly. Making me swoon for him from beginning to end. Maxine was also wonderful portraying Dylan’s free spirit, go with the flow, let the stars and moon take over attitude and I loved it. I’m a little hippy myself and she kept me chuckling at all her antics.
