Publisher's Summary

Behind every Florida man is a Florida woman - usually waving a restraining order.

"Florida Man” has met his match in Bobbie Drex, a down-and-out native of the Sunshine State. She may be short on cash, but she’s always packing enough snark to give any whack-job a run for his money. Including her wisecracking redneck cousin Earl.

But when a mysterious stranger arrives at her mechanic shop seeking repairs to his ratty old RV, it’s Bobbie who’s in for a complete overhaul.

Phantom shooters in hot pants. Gonadal twins. Norman Bates in a turban. Mothman pooper scoopers.

It’s enough to make anyone want to run off and join the circus. But in Florida, you don’t have to. Wait long enough, and the freak show comes to you.

So, grab some mosquito repellent and a lawn chair. Then, sit back and relax. Things are about to go side-splittingly off the rails in the Sunshine State.

Like Christopher Moore? Carl Hiassen? Tim Dorsey? You'll probably love Moth Busters, too! The weirdness of The X-Files and the unwashed insanity of My Name Is Earl collide to form this deliciously snarky, totally abnormal mystery series. New from the author of the best-selling Val Fremden Mystery series!

Fun!!!

This book is fun and witty! You think you’re going to get simpletons and a lame plot from the initial accent that the book is read but…halfway through, it all fits together.

I would love to hear the sequential books with the same narrator on Audible!

Very fun read (listen)!!!

Moth Busters

Funny story.. had some suspense too. Great narrator for Margaret Lashley’s books… liked Glad One too!

3.5 stars

good, but the main character annoyed me with her squeamishness and lack of common sense. an FBI agent would not be calling a civilian for help, or sobbing at murder scene of someone he didnt know.

Wait for it

It started out a bit slow. There were a couple times while I almost moved on to a different book but I’m glad I stuck with it. It gets better as you go. The book had me smiling at several points. Give it a go

LOL Funny

This book was just the humor I needed! The narrator’s accents were funny and charming. The story was over the top funny portrayal of small town folks and their folklore and conspiracy theories. I can’t wait for the next book.

Amazing

I LOVED this audiobook- so original, with funny, likeable characters, and just a touch of the paranormal. The narration is fantastic. I’m so glad I found this series, and I hope more of the books are released in this format.
