I really didn't know

If I was throwing away my money on this book, and the accents took a few minutes to get used to, but once I got past that and just started enjoying the story - I was hooked! The plot is twisty, turny, improbable and FUN! Yes, I got annoyed with the main character a time of two (or three) but I figure she'll learn to trust her own instincts in future books. Future books which I intend to buy and enjoy.

Great book and Performance

What a great performance and book! Well developed characters. The storyline was great with some twists all paired with the perfect narration! Definitely left me wanting more audible books for this series.

Love the book and all the characters, it has a little bit of everything you look for in a good book. I laughed out loud so many times. I sure hope all the series is on audio!!!

Kept Me Guessing

the story was really entertaining and engaging, however Earl's character and or voice graded on my nerves, I'm glad I played it out to the end and plan on listening to the next one!

I made it to chapter 44 and couldn't finish it

I don't know that the story is bad, but it definitely did not hold my attention. I gave it an honest try and by chapter 44, I realized that I only have so much time in a day and why waste it on something I just don't like when it's for entertainment. The narrator does a fine job. A bit exaggerated, but I'd listen to her on something else. After listening to this audiobook for several hours, I still don't know what it's about or if there is a mystery to solve. Everything just keeps seeming imaginary, with no real ties to each other. I have read other books by this author and thought they were ok, but I won't be going any further in this series
