Lovely story about starting over and discovering who you really are and who you want to be.

I enjoyed this book. Although the narrator was a bit robotic in her very overly articulated reading, the storyline was cute. The characters were just deep enough with clever dialogue, that I made connections with them and it kept me interested. I once had a professor that referred to romance books like this as “brain flops.” There isn’t much food for thought, but it is an entertaining and relaxing read. It was just the “flop” my brain needed at that moment. I will definitely watch for more books by this author.

Breezy romance

Very cute, typical romantic comedy. Shannon Stacey is always great for a good beach read (or listen) 🙂. The narrator has a lovely voice, but she is very monotone and (I hope this doesn't sound rude), she sounded FAR more mature than main characters (so some parts were strange to listen to from such a mature, matronly voice). Would definitely suggest this beach read still!
