Really focking American Politics!

The fact that a British writer has to include American politics into her novel. I let it go in the first book. this time I quit listening. I want my money back

fun like the first

it's a good continuation of the first volume, pretty sure there won't be a third even though Nell still has a few more years to be a 40 something F*up. may be more for me (a 40+ ptofessional with impostors syndrome)... but, though it's fiction, it's nice to know there are enough off us to make it worth writing.

Funny and entertaining

Just as wonderful as the first book! Wish this little series was longer, really loved all the characters.

Read both books and change the way you look at life

Both of these books (two book series) was like reading the self help book you actually want to read. The writing is beautiful. The narration is top tier. Both books are in my top 5 of all time.

Too funny and Sooo real

Loved the story. The narrator is fabulous. Totally recommend. A real pick me up to know your not alone. Heartfelt and warm.

Relatable and Necessary

Not many authors I’ve run across cover what it’s like tone in this age group with these concerns and hopes and disappointments. Everyone covers your 30s and the struggles but it’s so nice to know that even after your 30s your dreams and life ups and downs matter still so thank you

I cannot

I really liked the last book, Confessions of a Forty-something F##k Up, so I thought this would be a great choice. It is not. I can’t even get through the first couple chapters! I understand she needs to do some recap but it just seemed so tedious. I don’t often abandon books but this one I am. I just can’t with this book. Ugh.
