The fact that a British writer has to include American politics into her novel. I let it go in the first book. this time I quit listening. I want my money back

Read both books and change the way you look at life

Both of these books (two book series) was like reading the self help book you actually want to read. The writing is beautiful. The narration is top tier. Both books are in my top 5 of all time.

fun like the first

it's a good continuation of the first volume, pretty sure there won't be a third even though Nell still has a few more years to be a 40 something F*up. may be more for me (a 40+ ptofessional with impostors syndrome)... but, though it's fiction, it's nice to know there are enough off us to make it worth writing.

Loved both the first and now the second book!

So relatable and real. The vulnerabilities shared and the social dilemmas so on point for women in midlife. Glad we can laugh and commiserate with this listen. Narrator does amazing work with the character switches. Loved her Cricket voice. I want a Cricket friend!
