Amazing Series

I loved this entire series because it was fast paced, full of action, and unapologetic characters. They were who they were and didn’t pretend to be something else or make excuses. There was also a good deal of interesting monsters, and my only complaint is the final beastie went out a little too quickly. I would have liked to see more of him before the whole place was dealt with. I also love Banks and McFadden together and hope someday that more books are added to the series, though overall it was neatly wrapped up in a most satisfying manner.

I just finished the eighth book in the series. I’ve been listening to them when I’m at work. I hope the story continues.

great characters

The narrator's enunciation is strange and can detract from the storyline. It's distracting. On the other hand, his voices for each character are great and make it fun easy to determine which one is which.

character development

Would've preferred more fight sequence with the monsters on the island and a little more information about the experiments.
