Silas and his crew are forced to hire a guide that can help make an introduction to the one person capable of helping them obtain the core needed to save Sensei. And if they want that help, there’s only one path forward: taking on a mission so dangerous it borders on suicide.

As Silas navigates this new world, he gains new allies and learns more about his Raiju heritage. Among them is Ashley of the Phoenix clan, adding both new powers and also growing complications to his group. But something else is changing, too: his draconic side surfaces. It is much harder to control and far more dangerous. With time running out and enemies converging on them from all sides, Silas will need to tame both his bloodlines if he wants to claim the core, save Sensei, and make it back to Earth.

Great continuation of the story line

I enjoyed the character development and am looking forward to next book in the series.

Better than expected

I got caught up in book one after not thinking I would. I'm not into Rock/ Rock and Roll but the music is basically background to the story. The story, now that's where the good stuff is. This story is fun and both modern and futuristic at the same time. Book 2 is a backpacking through Europe and everything I got into diary but in a fantasy world. There is plenty of stuff they get into. Friends are made, connections are made and enemies are made all before they get back to earth to deal with the mayhem they left behind at the end of book 1. Fun stuff and I hope it continues. I'm really enjoying the characters and the story.

Book 3 please

great addition

The continuation of Silas and his ladies is amazing. Their journey through the portal and adventure there was great and the ending of the book made me want to read the next book right now.....to bad I have to wait for it

Thru the portal, beyond the Event Horizon

Rejoin Blood and Honey as they pass through the Portal in search of a cure for Sensei Martin. Fresh of the duel between Silas and the featherhead's heir Burton Brightfeather, the band must explore a whole new world completely alien to them, and with no guidance save from the 500 years dead Tempest.
They will need to make friends and allies, and learn more about their unique abilities in order to survive in this new environment.
perhaps they can find one of Tempest's old allies for aid.
Can they find the beast they need to save sensei? will it have the right core?
Will they be able to complete their mission in time?
what new enemies will they make along the way?
Can the Band increase their fame, Champion Energy, to become powerhouses?
Will Silas trip and fall into a new playmate, will he survive Ruby's wrath if he does?
