Your reference guide to being a successful adult

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck meets a financial planning seminar; This author perfectly combines complicated financial planning tools with a user friendly approach that is both relatable and engrossing. I would strongly recommend this for people of all ages, but more importantly for those just starting out in the adult world. The main focusing point of the book is to inform on all of the necessary life practices that were never covered in school and it does a great job communicating them without using any complicated industry terms.

Straight to the point information!

First book I could actually get my husband to listen to!
I get it, adulting is hard. Sadly, many school systems have not placed a high value on learning taxes or about investment and sometimes, we are not ready to hear or take in all of this scary talk. Veronica really gets it and has given you an amazing tool to keep around. Money Matters is a book you will want to reference back to many times over! All of the information is broken down into basic terminology and laid out in an attainable way that you can use to start getting your adult life in order. Unlike many other books on finances, Veronica does a great job of being right to the point and not boring you with too much detail that would overload our minds. She lets you know what is most important and gives you guidance on where you can dig deeper if that is your choice. This is a great book and I know it's going to be my go-to high school graduation present book! This is perfect for anyone looking to learn more about money/finance and I think the sooner you read it the better your life will be! I can't wait for the next book to come out, but in the meantime I think I'll start taking action on the advice given in this book!

So Good!!

This book came to me in a time in my life where I was selling a home and moving into another one. Knowing how to manage extra money, how to budget, how to save are all so valuable - and lessons I never learned when I was a teenager! Having them now will not only help me to start and build my retirement plan, but I fully intend on having my teenage children listen to this book and learn these lessons much sooner than I did.

Thanks, Veronica, for explaining all of this in a way that just makes sense. I'm excited to face my money situation in a much better place than I ever have before. Most of all, I'm excited to no longer have confusion or fear surrounding money! This book should be assigned reading in every high school!

very useful & accurate financial education book!

This book should be a required reading in high school & college! I love how it covers a variety of topics: credit, bank accounts, ATM cards, credit cards, student loans, retirement account types, thinking about saving/budgeting, and basic income tax principals. The book is very well organized, easy to follow, and most importantly accurate. I'm buying a paper copy for all the recent graduates as gifts!
