amusing, sweet

an amusing listen for drive time. and appreciated some of the unpredictables in the story

Well it’s a love story

The narrator was stilted at times, and the accents didn’t quite make sense. Kinda far fetched, but an easy listen. Glad it was free.

Definitely a Laugh Out Loud kind of book

I loved this story! Exactly what I needed to escape from the crazy world we currently live in, sit back, relax, and enjoy the story. The characters are fabulous, the performance is outstanding!

You are brought into the story slowly. The characters become family and you wish the story didn’t end. But it’s a happy ending.

Very sweet story

I liked this book because it’s about regular people and I could listen to it around my grandkids. Lol

GREAT BOOK

I would have given it all five stars except it took so long for it to get to the end. I love the story but it was hard to get through the first chapters. I do recommend this book because it is a wholesome goodread.

more like a coming-of-age story

This is my first book from the author, and boy, I find this one lengthy. Well, technically, this was only just 6 hours long, but it has almost a hundred chapters; it gives an epic-like feel while reading it.

And it appears it is one as this one is a coming of age story of Mona Lisa, who got jilted in the altar, and we are brought in on her journey to finding herself again and at the same time finding someone who loves her just the way she is. Truth be told, my reading experience on this one was a bit tedious as the tone was monotonous. The conflict was not enough to heighten my interest in the rest of the story. But this won't be left unappreciated. The familial aspect and the sisterly bond she shares with her biological sisters and her new roommates were a fun read. All in all, if you are looking for a nice coming-of-age story, you may enjoy reading this one.
