Publisher's Summary

Robin Cove has had enough of her boss, is over her boyfriend, and makes a split-second decision to leave it all behind. Too bad she didn’t check the weather forecast before she left. Stranded on the side of the road when her old car breaks down, Robin fears her impulsive action will be the death of her, as her body temperature steadily lowers to dangerous levels.

Matt Landry is slowly making his way home in the storm, when he finds an unconscious woman on the side of the road and rushes her home to his father Chris to save her.

When Robin wakes up, she finds herself in the kind of home that she has always dreamed of having, except for the handsome man with the surly attitude. As much as Robin wants to stay, she knows she’ll never win him over and needs to find the right future for herself.

Will Robin’s future bring her back to Chris and his kids? Or, will Chris lose the chance to have the love of a woman who will never leave him and the family he has always wanted?

Heartwarming Cozy Romance

I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
This is a feel good romance that is one you should to listen to when you need a pick me up. The flow of the book is perfect, and the characters are lovable and endearing. This is my introduction to Stacy Eaton's work, and I was not disappointed. One of my pet peeves about a lot of romances out there is that they are actually erotica in disguise (the sexual content was appropriate to the story and not over the top), and I loved that this one was not that way. The narrator played the parts of the various characters perfectly, and I thoroughly enjoyed this book overall. I would highly recommend this book.

great story

Fantastic story about finding love where you least expect it.

After moving away from her life in the city, Robin almost freezes to death along the side of the road. Lucky for her Matt Landry, who was driving along the same road in the storm, saw her and brought her home. Even luckier, Robin gets a glimpse of the life she really wants and the family she wants it with.

The path to each other doesn't always run smoothly for Robin and Chris, but fate has a way of bringing people together, even when they can't get out of their own way to do it themselves...

This was a quick read and a really sweet story. I loved the characters and the happy ending was pretty perfect.

Warm and happy!

I love that holiday feel, a second chance at life and single dads! This one has a little of everything giving me that warm feeling. Chris Landry is a single father, and doesn't have the best luck with women. But when his son Matt brings Robyn in from the cold, things are about to change. Robyn is driving with her life in her car. Losing her job and her boyfriend all in the same day she is ready to find a new life. Now in a snowbank, locked out of her car, things are not looking good. But then she wakes up in a new house, with a dad an 2 kids, and this reminds her of what life should be. And now we get our new beginnings. The kids, Matt and Geri add a special layer of family, reminding us all the joys complexities of parenthood and we even have a crazy ex to add to the fun! It's a heartwarming and entertaining story that will leave you happy.

Lisa Beacom gives a warm and fuzzy performance. I enjoy Lisa's voices, each one special to the characters. She can move from adult to child in an instant and never miss a beat. Her portrayal adds to the story with emotions and passion making this a very enjoyable listen!

Loved it!

This is the first book I’ve read by Stacy Eaton. I’m now a fan and look forward to reading more. This story had just the right amount of spice and sweetness that I particularly enjoy in a good romance. This is the first book in this series and I could see some really cool family stories evolving out of this staring point.

Also new to me is Lisa Beacom. I really enjoyed Lisa’s performance and she as she did a wonderful job bringing the characters to life.

I recommend both the author and the narrator!

Flawless......

Starts with a 'bang' and keeps the reader engaged all the way through. Lisa's narration is paced well and she takes the time to briefly pause and signpost the changes in POV. It is thus relatively easy not to get lost about who is narrating in that section. (even when you are doing work on the side ha ha ha) Flawless flow. Good character development. No cliffhangers. The story is wound up nicely though I would not mind reading further stories about this family - maybe even 'next generation' spin offs. This audiobook was a pleasure on all fronts.

too short but sweet and a bit spicy

Sweet. Tender. Endearing. Single father with two children and the opportunity to instill in them the value of honor, respect, family, the right thing, love and unfortunately lose. Robin has been dealt a raw deal by more than one person in her life. On her road to the old familiar. She finds a chance at something new, different and life altering.

I loved getting to meet Robin, Matt, Chris and a little ray of sunshine. These few days of closeness brings about a huge change in the small family that finds a answer to the question none of them were asking.

I enjoyed Lisa Beacom voice. I loved her pitches, tone change, inflection and just all around. I found home with her voice and this story.

Sweet, Quick, Loving Story

I bought this Audiobook because I like Stacy Eaton’s writing and the premise for this audiobook really intrigued me. I know a lot of Christmas Audible begin with a woman’s car breaking down in a snowstorm and then she is rescued by the hero. This time, she’s rescued by the hero’s son, and from then on there is nothing typical about the story.
I enjoy stories about strong women, and Robin is definitely that. Chris is solid and sexy, and the kids are wonderful. This is the kind of family every woman wants. “Mistletoe and Cocoa Kisses” is the kind of book where you wrap up in a blanket on the couch, get comfortable with a cup of cocoa, and settle in with a good story. This is also a audiobook that’s going on my “keep and reread” list, and it won’t even have to be Christmas for me to pull it out again.

Yes to Mistletoe & Cocoa Kisses

This is a lovely book to listen to. Perfect for a cold and stormy day....

Robin leaves her job that she loves as a Chef because of her to keen boss and makes maters worse finds her finance in bed with her so called best friend. What is a woman to do... well she packs up her bags and heads out of New York and back to her home Ohio. Oh it gets better ,while driving through Pennsylvania, her car breaks down in a snow storm, and while trying to get a blanket out of her back seat, she inadvertently hits her head locks herself out of the car!

Thankfully she is found by a teenage boy named Matt who takes her home with him. Matt's dad has bad luck with women. There is a connection between Robin and Chris,

Can they both get over their pasts and make a new life and a family life together.

Sit back and enjoy.

Sweet, Feel-Good Tale

It wasn’t hard to love Chris, Robin, Matt and Geri. They are all wonderful individuals with great personalities.
Chris and Robin have had their share of heartbreak and have decided to guard their hearts. A series of terrible events and a crazy snow storm bring the two together. Quickly the ice begins to melt as love and compassion warm their hearts and shows them just what a family together would be like.
Matt and Geri are adorable and I loved the bond that forms between them and Robin.
The ending was perfect. It had me smiling and shedding a few happy tears.
