Vol 2 not nearly as good.

Would have skipped this one. Vol 1 was good to listen to. This one fell short.

Really enjoyed all of these stories. Found volume two overall better than the first. The first was good too. Highly recommend both volumes.

fun side quests

this is a fun set of stories that tells side stories within the Extinction world. They're not written by Nicholas Sansbury Smith but they hold a similar tone. Definitely worth the listen.

I was so disappointed when amazon took Kindle worlds away. Now thanks to Smith they are back! These stories fit so well into the originals. All of these stories are awesome I can't even pick a single one to call the best. In my opinion most of these could be stand alones. So if you like Nicholas Sansbury Smith's works you'll love these. If you have found these and haven't read Smith's Extinction Cycle books you need to.

Need to be longer

Can we get some more stories from some of the characters? I loved the addition to the Cycle.

Really good shorts

Good additions to the main series universe. Fully developed shorts that stood on their own unlike other zombie / apocalypse short story compilations I’ve tried which seemed more like unfinished story ideas pulled from various authors notebooks.
