Four years ago, I had it all. But one mistake cost me everything. It cost me her. Anna. Now, I've got the money and the fame. And the emptiest life on the planet. Then I see her again, backstage after one of our shows. And that's when I knew - she's mine. She'll always be mine. My second chance is here. And this time I won't blow it.

5 Missing from Me Stars

First let me start off by saying how much I loved the narration to this audiobook. I am a huge fan of both these narrator’s they brought these character’s to life in my ear’s!
And let’s be honest, Jacob Morgan voice is … LUSH!

On to the author this was actually a first for me by this author and I really don’t think it will be the last. She has a way of keeping you engaged even when for me the drama was too much.

I am not a fan of no communication and I hate when character’s don’t communicate! But that’s just me. And that is the only part of this book I didn’t really like. I lovvvvvvvved the connection all the character’s had. Logan is a character I would like to see more of.

I really fell in love with Willow she is the sweetest! I connected most with Anna, having a child who has asthma is the most scariest thing ever. Especially when they are young and don’t know to use the inhaler’s themselves when their breathing heavy or hard. Those feeling of having to be strong in the face of your child because you don’t want them to panic, yeah that is H – E – L - L…
So I very much identified with Anna on that front. And there were times I didn’t really like her and that’s ok that to me is what makes second chance romances so good. You don’t have to like all the character’s all the time.

I didn’t much like Sean throughout the whole story but he grew on me and by the end I wanted to have all his babies! 

So if you are in the mood for a hunky rock star second chance romance this is the book for you!

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

Fantastic MUST Listen!!

I love the 6th Street Series, having read every book. But this is the first audio I've purchased. I cried. Big fat ugly tears. This story is so moving. At first I was intent on reading, because that is my pattern (read a little, listen a little). But these narrator just sucked me in. The brought Sean and Anna to life in a way I couldn't imagine. And don't get me started on little Willow. As for the review, Missing From Me is the most true to life story second chance love story I've heard in this genre. It was so real. Sean's character...what can I say? He was flawed and damaged but his love for Anna shined through the entire time. This couple so deserved their HEA. I can't wait until the next book. I've already ordered it. Jayne Frost is a fantastic storyteller.

Outstanding Contemporary Romance!

I was not familiar with this author but I’m so glad I took a chance! The story is well written and the characters well developed. The story sucked me in and kept me hooked all the way to the conclusion.

Narration was outstanding! One of the best I have heard in awhile. You could feel the emotion coming from the characters.

This is a story about second chances. Sean is a drummer in a band and Anna wants to go to law school. This book is a standalone. The story takes place in Texas. Outstanding book all the way around! I’m looking forward to listening to more books by this talented author & narrators!

Drummer with a heart of gold

Jayne is a new to my author and I am so happy to have found her! After discussing this series with a fellow reader, she suggested starting the series out of order, which I typically would never do! But in this case, I dont feel like I missed anything by skipping the first 2 books in the series. It appears they are all standalone books about different characters.

Missing From Me is the story of a drummer who seems to be doing whatever he can to make a huge mistake right again. This is not your typical rock star romance, rather a heartwarming contemporary romance with a hint of the rockstar life. I definitely recommend that anyone who is looking for a book that will make you say "awwwww" more times that you can count pick up this book right away! You will not regret it!

The narration was fantastic! Both Elena Wolfe and Jacob Morgan are new to me narrators but they are not going to stay that was! I plan on stalking their audible pages and picking up as many books by them as possible!

Awesome!!!

I was blown away by the performance of the narrators in this book. They added so many emotions one could hear in this book. I loved both of their distinguished character’s voices, especially Willow.
This book was so well written and performed. I haven’t read many books by Jayne Frost before, but I am definitely adding her to my one-click purchase list. I loved how she tied in the title of the book into one of the heartfelt conversations between the main characters. This book is original and a standalone listen. I hope some of the other band members get their stories. The setting of Austin and Waco was so well done, along with the imagery throughout the book. I requested this review copy Audiobook and have voluntarily written this review.

Willow...

This audiobook was by a new author to me. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The characters were high school sweethearts, with her wanting to go to law school and him wanting fame in a band. They love each other deeply, but as time comes for his big chance he pushes her away when she won’t quit college to come with him. Years go by and then she appears at a concert when his band is performing back home in Austin. The instant chemistry they still had was combustible, but she kept a secret from him after he walked away. The story was engaging and narration excellent.

Tu me manques

Where does Missing from Me rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This was the first time I’ve ever read/listened to a book and I’ll get into my evaluation of this experience in a bit. But first, let me tell you what I thought of the book. This story had my stomach tight with a bundle of nerves right to the end. I was anxious, frustrated, angry, amused, happy, and a whole whack of other emotions I won’t bore you with. If you’re looking for an easy romance, you won’t find that here. This was an authentic look into what it is to want to realize your dreams while trying to hold onto your love and understanding that sometimes both at one time aren’t possible. It’s about unbelievable second chances and finding out that love blooms even when you’re not around to nurture it. It’s about music, celebrity, drama, regret, hope and love. So. Much. Love!

Sean tested my patience. I went from hating him to loving him to hating him to loving him again. I’m sure you’ve experienced those types of characters too. The ones who do such stupid things, don’t properly communicate, hurt the ones they love, continue to do stupid things, all while making you swoon at their internal thoughts. Yup, that was Sean. My emotions also went through the wringer with Anna. She drove me insane!! And the secret she kept almost flushed my respect for her down the toilet. That is not a secret to keep. EVER!! In the end, I loved these guys. You know the author’s good when she has you going through so much angst right along with the people she’s created. And there was a heck of a lot of angst.

Okay, so how did my first experience with an audiobook go? I’m still on the fence. I really enjoyed the male narrator’s voice, even when he made it go soft for Anna’s part. I wasn’t a fan of the female narrator’s voice though. It sounded a bit robotic, to be honest. And I didn’t like how either of them did a baby voice. What the heck was that? Also, it took me far longer to listen to this book than it did for me to read it. I get the allure of audiobooks. I understand that it frees your hands and eyes for other things. However, it didn’t really work for me. Loved the story, but it’s a ‘meh’ on the listening part.

FANTASTIC! THE ONLY THING I'M MISSING IS BOOKS 1+2

This audiobook was gifted to me for an honest review.

Honestly, one of the best stories I've heard in a long time. That includes those from favorite best selling authors. I can't say the plot was totally new but the execution and twists were perfect as Sean and Anna navigated their way through a thunderstorm of emotions and roadblocks. I found my sympathy balancing between them as both made mistakes and had false misgivings. Jayne Frost was able to override the fact that I hadn't listened to the previous books and give me enough information to understand the backgrounds of Sean's band members. The only questionable relationship that wasn't given closure was that of Anna and her best friend Payton. In the end, the person I feel the most disdain for is Logan, Sean's best friend. I know there's a lot of pain behind his aloofness but Geez, he could have been more helpful! I'm betting he'll be the center of the next installment.

Jacob Morgan was Sean. Period. Absolutely the best voice choice. And ditto that for Elena Wolfe. Both are top-notch narrators and prove it in this audiobook.

PUMPING BOTH THUMBS UP HIGH!

WOW!! The whole package!!! Loved it!!!!

Obsessed!! That’s the best word to describe my feelings for this series. Each book in the Six Street Bands just keeps getting better!

Sean and Anna’s story has been my favorite so far. This is second chance romance at its best!!

Jayne Frost takes you on an emotional journey packed full of love, betrayal, heartbreak, self-discovery, and redemption. She pours her heart into these characters giving you so many layers of their history and the future they both deserve.

With his band, Caged, finally catching it’s ticket to stardom, Sean is amped to go on tour and make a name for himself. But when his long-time girlfriend decides she can’t go because of school, Sean’s world folds before his eyes and he makes one of the biggest mistakes of his life. Now four years later, he’s face to face with his past and the constant reminder that he made the wrong decision. Only Anna isn’t the same girl she used to be and the years apart have solidified that both their lives have taken different courses. But the mere presence of his past has Sean coming apart at the seams. He’ll do anything to prove to his Anna-baby that she’s the only woman he’s ever loved. Anna isn’t ready to get swept back into this sexy rockers electric orbit, the last time left her broken and she’s still picking up the pieces.
Their connection isn’t only combustible, these two have their hearts tethered by an invisible current, so no matter how hard they try, it’s inevitable they are bound to come together. But now the stakes are higher then they’ve ever been before and both have more to lose then the first time around.

This was an epic read that had me completely consumed. I honestly couldn’t get enough of these characters, their story, the passion and the raw intensity of every moment.

Jacob Morgan was phenomenal as Sean!! He seriously had me swooning so hard every time he called her Anna-baby and the way he became Sean’s character. He nailed his performance!! And Elena Wolfe was amazing as Anna! Awesome narration on top of an unforgettable story! AMAZING LISTEN!!!

Incredible

Jayne Frost continues to amaze me with her writing. This third book in the Sixth Street Bands series gives us Annabelle and Sean's story, but even more, she gives us Willow! Anna and Sean were high school sweethearts, and when Sean's big break came, Anna let him go to follow her dream. Little did she know how her life would change after that. Now 4 years later, the two are reunited, and the surprise of a lifetime comes to Sean. Willow is one of the best characters in this series. Her limited vocabulary and hearing disability do not stop her from knowing what she wants and getting her point across. I love her spunk! Now with that being said, her parents are steamy and passionate, continue their miscommunications and have circumstances that are constantly wreaking havoc to their relationship. Can they get through it all? As true love prevails, we do hope they do! It's a wonderfully written story, with heart, and such well developed characters, it's like I know them and they are my friends. Frost writes realistically which brings the story straight to the heart!

Elena Wolfe and Jacob Morgan are a team of narrators that can only enhance the story. I loved the performance. Full of angst and emotional draw, I was sucked in and couldn't stop listening...for 10 hours and 36 minutes! It is that good!

Wow

So enjoyed this one. I wondered at times if they were actually going to make it. He had so much to understanding what he was doing wrong. But he eventually got there. Loved that the little girl had problems and not everything was perfect. Loved the brotherhood among friends. Was a great read.
Narration was awesome too.
