Color, age and wealth are not important enough to keep Pete from having a true friendship with Issac. A beautiful story of friendship, loss, love, and healing.

A Heart-Warming Story about Friendship and Devotion
The author had a well-developed plot that crosses racial boundaries and social standing. Several unexpected twists and turns made me want to keep listening. The ending reveals the unending love for a friend.

In the beginning was hard to follow however, it would’ve been fabulous if you could hear the singers performed the song summer mention throughout the story …wonderful reading out loud voices!

She’s an amazing author…
I love how she brings her into the story, you get to know the characters in depth. Not to be cliché, but I definitely laugh and cry with the characters. Amazing storytelling.

fun and refreshing story
great story. author did a wonderful job.
love this narrator, have him a 5 star. only issue would be volume control, had to raise and lower at times to hear when he got quiet.
was a bit confused of who was colored and who was white. thought everyone was colored for the longest time.
