Good Story

The storyline was fantastic. Unfortunately, I didn't like the narrator. When there isn't a connection to the narrator, it takes away from the story no matter how good it is.

Good story. However, the narrator was yelly and screechy. Her reactions were often unnecessary

Very suspenseful read!

I really enjoyed this audiobook! The Narrator does a really good job, and the story keeps you wanting to read on! It didn't end the way I expected, but that's what I loved most about it! You won't regret reading this one!

Good story with a twist!

I have been binging stories by this author for about a week. This was my fifth book! I’m really enjoying the writing. Unfortunately, this narrator drove me absolutely insane. I wanted to finish the story so badly and I did however, it was a struggle.
Our female lead character was seemingly always shouting with this narrator. I had to turn the volume down on my phone. The child’s voice was also super annoying. If the narrator had just kept her voice at an even keel, it would’ve been fine. She has quite a nice voice, except when every single line by our lead character is in a SHOUT.
All that being said, I really did love the story. This author seems to have a big connection with alcoholism and children being neglected. It seems a common theme throughout the books I have listened to thus far.
