Publisher's Summary
Blind from a young age, a Regency heroine risks her overbearing father’s displeasure by attending a house party, never dreaming she’ll meet a formidable lord who will discover all her secrets and still want her for his own.
Dominated by her father’s rigid ways since a twist of fate stole her sight, Isabella uses the magic of Christmas to steal away for an adventure of her own when invited to join friends for the holidays. Oh, how she adores Christmastime!
How he abhors Christmastime! Lord Frostwood lives up to his name, freezing out everyone since a childhood tragedy hardened his heart. Everyone, that is, until a spirited wench falls at his feet and proceeds to warm his cold existence, thanks to some strategically placed mistletoe and their resulting Christmas kisses.

Gave up after 12 minutes
Sorry but I couldn't even force myself to finish one chapter. The first thing to hit me was the dreadful narrator. He sounds like someone trying to put on some dodgy British accent to impress an unsuspecting,p American. I'm going to assume the author is American, or just extremely ignorant. Or both, judging by her command of language and notion of life in the Regency era, Christmas and "all it stands for" as we know it do not apply to them. Anyone who's read Pride & Prejudice knows that. Anyone who's read P&P or any book in or on the Regency would know their language and customs better. This book has failed before it's even started. Even for free you can't tempt me to listen to single minute more. Ugh.

Too short and tacky
Overly dramatic coming from a blind person who has listened to this book, pieces are a little unbelievable, I’ve picked this book as I am blind myself, I would recommend the book to anyone that wants some mindless listening. I give the book this review because coming from a plain perspective even in historical fiction I find it quite uneducated

Lovely story about two people that have never met, but her best friend thinks they are right for each other. She, Isabella is blind and he, Lord Frost is a bit of a grump.
They are both invited by their newly married friends to a house party at Christmas and so the tale begins.

When a nearly naked woman crashes into his arms, Paul, the new Earl of Latterly, knows he's left his monk-like world behind. Raised apart from females by his misogynist father, Paul hardly knows how to speak with the delightful girl who's dashed out of the dance hall. But in a single night's tryst, they discover a passion he's long denied himself. Yet to his dismay, he learns Emma is the adopted sister of the very man he seeks: the true heir to the earldom, Paul's ne'er-do-well cousin.

Story
Michael McCann has a gentle way with women, and Timona Calverson is no exception, despite her ragged clothes. Though Timona may be no more than a mysterious woman, Michael is determined to keep her from harm, if only for one night. Timona can't bring herself to tell him who she really is - or that her rich family will pay handsomely for her return. She knows very little about Michael McCann, except that he is good enough to give his last cup of tea to a stranger, and compassionate enough to own the ugliest dog on earth.
