Publisher's Summary

Welcome to the North Pole, the town where Christmas is everyone’s job.

Jayne Frost is a lot of things. Winter elf, Jack Frost's daughter, Santa Claus's niece, heir to the Winter Throne, and soon to be newlywed.

Now that she and fiancé Sinclair (and their cats, Spider and Sugar) have moved back to the North Pole, they’re firmly entrenched in planning their wedding. With Jayne’s royal heritage, it’s a major undertaking.

And while Jayne is trying to organize the myriad details, Sinclair is taking the necessary classes to learn how to be a royal and adjust to his impending new life as Prince Consort. But with too much assistance from her well-meaning mother and aunt, Jayne quickly gets overwhelmed.

Sinclair suggests calling a friend to help, the ever-resourceful Birdie Caruthers. Jayne does, and Birdie is thrilled to pitch in. Not long after she arrives, however, the trio discovers the most terrible thing in the wedding carriage.

Will this dreadful discovery derail the wedding? Or can they solve the problem in time to make it to the altar unscathed? Make no bones about it, this is some serious trouble.

The book I have been waiting for

I have loved this series since the very first book. It is a series full of great characters that keep you engaged in their stories. I look forward to each and every new book that comes out. Finally Jayne and Sinclair are getting married. The narrator really brings the story and characters to life. It is a series I highly recommend.

You will feel like you are in the book!

Hollis McCarthy is amazing! How can a book about Santa be appealing to 40 year old me? I do not know, magic perhaps. The book is written and narrated in such a way that makes everything so real, you can help but be sucked into this magical world. This whole series is amazing, this is the kinda of book I re listen to, the whole series over and over, its a relaxing, exhilarating feel good kind of book. I am a big Kristen Painter fan, absolutely love all her books, I really hope this is not the last Miss Frost book, I would love to read more more and more in this series!

Great ending, will miss the Jayne Frost character

I will miss this particular character and the narrator of this series. I will for sure try out some of Kristen Painter's other series and hope they're as fun to listen as these. I knew I enjoyed these greatly because I'm pretty sad this ended.

SPOILER for those who haven't listened to the previous books up to this final one:

I would like to say that it was a bit abrupt and odd that Jayne broke up with both Cooper and Grayson in the same book that she met and quickly attached herself to Sinclaire. Perhaps those characters find romantic partners in her other novels and that's how she conveniently presented them as bachelors. Only one way to find out I guess.

Good girls don’t have sex before marriage

From dating 2 guys at the same time (really..?) in the first books this author is now heading into the other extreme by getting progressively more “no sex before marriage”. Not asking for descriptive scenes but there are better ways to avoid those. Seriously, they don’t even live together. What is this, the 60s? Also the notion of cats wanting to marry is absolutely ridiculous. I kinda liked the books so far but now she’s getting preachy without preaching. I’m out.

Fun story

A little “chunky” as far as story flow but cute as ever. I know I really enjoy this storyline however I also know a number of people to whom I could never recommend them. They are so nice and civil in these stories (a great model of human behavior) but just enough niceness to make a few people throw up.

Sappy, lazy storyline and writing

I was disappointed in this — seems like a quickie for money. Sadly, because I loved this series, I’m sorry I spent my credit.
