Slow starter but stick with it

I almost stopped listening, but I’m glad I finished. I fell in love with the characters and loved even more that they were inspired by real people. A charming story that kept me busy on my commute!

Female power !

I enjoyed this book very much - especially after listening to the author's comments as the end. This was based on the true story of the author's grandmother - which makes me very happy. Enjoyed it!

Took A While

It took me a while to get into this story. The lead up to the heart of the story seemed to take forever and when it got there I understood why the long backstory. It is light reading and thoroughly enjoyable.
