Erin Carter is alone. Plagued by childhood nightmares since the loss of her mother, she embarks on a journey to trace her father, hoping to find some semblance of family and put the darkness to rest. A tentative thread leads her to Hopetoun, in rural Scotland, and the welcoming Cornfield Castle.

Great story, great tension! I enjoyed my anxiety as the story built. Not a romance, but there is one, and more than one HEA.

I would definitely not call this a thriller or mystery. This is heavy into lesbian romance.
As a gay dude this wasn't something I could push through to the end. If the story was written better and not been a depressing snooze fest.
