About the Creator and Performer

Carrie Dennett, MPH, RDN, is a registered dietitian nutritionist, certified intuitive eating counselor, journalist, author, and speaker. She writes a weekly nutrition column for The Seattle Times and is the author of Healthy for Your Life: A Holistic Approach to Optimal Wellness. In her virtual private practice, Nutrition by Carrie, she helps clients become mindful and intuitive eaters. She has a journalism degree from the University of Oregon and had worked as a newspaper journalist and copywriter for many years before earning her Master of Public Health in nutritional sciences from the University of Washington.

I could not get the stars to go to just 1

This was not helpful. I was interested in the subject matter but the author spoke down to audience and repeated and explained concepts over and over.

The Best Audible I've Listened to

I confess I got this book because the topic was interesting to me, the book was short, and I thought it might teach me something useful. I was so surprised to find out that the book was insighful, well researched and a pure listening pleasure.

Before I was one hour into it, I'd made up my mind to purchase any other book written by this author or read by this narrator. Surprise, they're one and the same. But saddly, this is it for Audible. I did find two other paper backs.

Just meh

Be thoughtful. Here are some exercises. Fine if you have never thought about mindful eating. If it’s not new to you this book is just tedious
