Held me captive to the end

This is one of Robyn Carrs best in my opinion. I have read many of her wonderful stories but this one I could not put down. Reader was excellent as well.

Like night and day !

The last Robyn Carr book I read was Four Friends... this one is completely different, and not at all the typical storyline for R.C., but both were VERY good . Great character development, and both kept me interested from beginning to end

I love the Virgin River series so much, but the girls in this story will keep your attention just as much if you like the girls hanging out and telling stories about their husbands and family..

WOW

Okay even thought I figured it out about half way through, the story was still so amazingly written and told that it kept me hooked all the way through and there were definitely some twist in there that just aren't revealed until the end.

The basic premise is a youngish woman, who has faced horrible loss in her life and decides to escape the big city for the quite life in a small town in Colorado. But the small town idyllic life has some surprises. She makes a few friends (its hard to break into the life of a small town) and weird things start happening in her house, and other houses around the town. Something isn't right and no one really trust her instincts and at times those instincts do border on crazy. the odd relationship between her ex husband and his new wife throws a wrench of a different sort in there as she works to solve these strange happenings in this town and decide weather or not she would be better off just returning to LA.

Great story & had me from the beginning to the very very end & would definitely recommend this.

Would you listen to Mind Tryst again? Why?

This book scared the life out of me and yes I will listen to it again - but just not yet. I am a great fan of Robyn Carr and I hope she writes more books of this genre. This book was nothing like the other Robyn Carr books I have read but it was so well written that I am surprised it has taken this long for it to be made into an audiobook.

What did you like best about this story?

The book was always on the go - I really didn't find any flat spots. The plot kept twisting an turning. I guessed early on that Tom was not who he appeared to be but the way his previous life was woven into the story made this book compelling listening.

What about Christina Traister’s performance did you like?

I have always enjoyed listening to Christina Traister. Some of her male voices can be hard to differentiate but her voice inflection, timing and fluidity always make for excellent narration.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Jackie heard them say that Tom AKA Jason was still alive. I thought no!!! what does she have to do to kill him. And knowing that he has survived means that I will always wonder if he escaped again. Is he back out there? Will Jackie ever be able to sleep again!

I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys being just a little bit scared!

WOW! Fantastic

I love that it didn't just drop off at any of te many points in the story that it could have ended. it actually finished with a complete ending so you know the follow-up aft=r it ended. Robyn Carr, you are incredible.

One of her best!

What a turn this was in plot. It was gripping and very tense. Definitely a page turner - or a non-stop audio.

This was a fast moving story

This was a story that from the start enticed the reader to read on. I had a hard time putting the book down. I would definitely say get this book!
