This book had me laughing so hard I so totally peed myself! I am still team #crash but look out Robert!

Narrator did a fantastic job. Story was interesting and fast paced. Looking forward to what comes next.

Loved it!

The characters are so great! They are all so different, but they go together so well. I loved visiting New Orleans in this book. And can I say, Robert!! As always Lauren does a fantastic job narrating. She is my favorite.

This series continues to get better and better. I swear after each book I say the same thing but this book was really good!! I laughed so much while listening. Feish was hilarious in this book. The narrator, Lauren Fortgang once again knocked it out of the park. I love her narrating skills. She just elevates the world. Definitely worth the credit.

worst book I ve ever listened to

I couldn't get past the first twenty minutes. Even skipping to the end. What a waste of time and credit.

Loved it.

I am so thrilled with the twist and turns, aches and pain but Bree just keeps going. I love all the characters. Lauren does an amazing job.

Love this series, just jeeps getting better

Breena is amazing!!! Her growth in this book is great. Her made family is so great even with all their quirks. The mystery of her grand missing ghost and the murder of her parents, gran and Allen lead Breena to NOLA where she ends up in a help of crazy trouble. Full of action, humor and a splash of romance. Highly recommend!!!

Entertaining story & fun audiobook!

Midlife Ghost Hunter is the fourth book in the Forty Proof series, written by Shannon Mayer. Our middle-aged heroine continues her journey into self-discovery; learning more about her family history, and her innate powers while fighting evil forces she has yet to understand. I enjoyed the evolution of her character and the supporting characters who are unique and interesting. The story is fast paced and moves quickly, with plenty of mystery to keep you intrigued. I am looking forward to learning more about her skeleton sidekick, Robert. Hopefully, Shannon will tell us in the next book! The audiobook was narrated by Lauren Fortgang. She did a great job communicating Breena’s emotions and provided another layer of complexity to the character. In conclusion, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this audiobook and I would highly recommend it!

I really, really, really hope that we're not setting up a new love triangle. I'm so happy that's done with. I can't stand love triangles. Especially if our heroine is a more mature woman. also, I really hope they stop teasing us with the sexual chemistry.

Forth part of dood mistery, fantasy and romance.

This is a well narrated, funny fast-pacing story. It's the fourth odd a series and not the last, so be aware of the reading order. I like the heroine's attitude and the fact that she's not a joung, standard beautiful and fit girl. I also appreciate the mysteries that are solved while new one are discovered. There's a lot of fantasy and romance too. Just what I needed!

Midlife Ghost Hunter- fast paced witty adventure!

I absolutely love this series and couldn't wait to listen to this latest installment to find out what happened after the death of a certain annoying person in her life was found murdered and a certain fae king gave her the cold shoulder. This was a fantastic listen which had me laughing out loud and rooting for Bree and her friends.

Highly recommend!

Bree has a bit of a tough time after being thrown in jail but with the help of her friends and an unexpected ally she manages to prison break in style and continues her journey in discovering her supernatural identity whilst going up against a powerful necromancer. This book introduces some great characters which im sure will have future appearances as Bree continues her journey. Oh, the little kiss she shares with someone at the end, no obvious spoiler with names but wow!

Another masterpiece

This is a must read. This series just keeps getting better. As always Shannon plays with your heart strings and you are left begging for more. This is me begging for more PLEASE! Literally cannot wait. Oh and that ending! 😲😍

Another amazing listen

I love this series and each book gets better and has you on the edge of your seat guessing who’s going to let Breena down. I love the chemistry she has with Crash and hoping things progress as she needs some fun in her life. I can’t wait for book 5 next July I will just have to be very patient waiting for it 🙂

Great instalment

I truly do love this series. It’s a great read/listen
I will admit that I don’t think that this is the best book out of the 4 released so far... the story felt a bit rushed and not as in depth as the others.
But all in all I still loved it and honestly can’t wait for the next
Lauren Fortgang has fast become my favourite narrator.
She always gets it spot on
