sweet couple

it is rare to read 2 older protagonists, while he was her boss she was his professor, creating an interesting power dynamic. He was a widower, she had medical conditions. At the end of the day they had each other.

Light hearted easy read!

This was a quick, cute read. Loved both MCs! Not too much angst or drama, just a well told love story. Looking forward to more from this author!

Very good book!!

The only annoying this is hate when authors want to show how independent female characters are and how they are offended by being taking care of to the point of throwing a tantrum. Other than that moment loved the maturity of this read. It was worth the credit.

Heartwarming and Delightful

This was such a cozy and cute read. I truly enjoyed the slow but steady burn between the main characters. Definitely worth the read or listen.

Super cute with the right amount of sexy!

I really enjoyed this story! the author and narrator are a winning combo. I have chronic health conditions and it felt good to be able to the FL. I can't wait to read other stories by this author.

Great read!!! The incorporation of Hispanic culture was the icing on the cake and had me calling home for some empanadas!

Slow start, but keep reading.

By the end of the first chapter I tried to return this title, I then learned that any book purchased with a credit/debit card are final sale. I decided since now I own the title to just continue listening. OMG! thank you audible for not allowing the return. I really liked it and would recommend this book to all.

Delightful

Fun and sweet love story with plenty of laughs. Very relatable and diverse characters. Really loved that the love story was realistic and included common life stressors (chronic illness; death of romantic partner). Narration was great. Wonderful book overall.
