Publisher's Summary
Brought to you by Penguin.
Is it possible to venture beyond daily living and experience heightened states of awareness?
In this highly anticipated new book, integrative medicine pioneer and New York Times best-selling author Deepak Chopra states that a higher state of consciousness is available here and now, for us all. Chopra unlocks the secrets to moving beyond our present limitations of the mind to access a field of infinite possibilities and reach our full potential. How do you achieve this? By becoming metahuman.
Drawing from the latest research on neuroscience, artificial intelligence and biometrics, Chopra offers a practical 31 day guide to help us ‘wake up’ at the deepest level in order to liberate ourselves from the conditioning and constructs that underlie anxiety, tension and ego driven demands. Only then does your infinite potential become your personal reality.
Critic Reviews
"Grasping this revolutionary idea will effectively remove the limiting belief systems and negativity that may be holding us back from achieving our maximum human potential. Highly recommended!” (Dr Rudolph E. Tanzi)
"Metahuman helps us harvest peak experiences so we can see our Truth and mould the universe’s chaos into a form that brings light to the world." (Dr Mehmet Oz)

His Magnum Opus 🙏🏼
This is a staggeringly brilliant book. It seems to me a culmination of Deepak Chopra’s decades of studies on the inner and outer workings of human existence and human consciousness. Having just listened to it, I’m immediately drawn to starting it over again. There’s so very much in it that appeals enticingly. 🙏🏼

Complicating a simple subject
As usual, Chopra has a great deal of important knowledge but likes to make it complicated and explain it extensively to the extent that one ends up losing the thread and the point of what he's trying to tell.

Monotonous performance makes listening hard to stick to
If only Chopra has hired a professional narrator to tell the story of this book, I wondered how different the experience may have been. While greatly anticipating the content of the book and what he had to say about this topic, I have found myself painstakingly trying to keep my attention on the monotonous narration. Last year, I read or listened to one book per week on average, so it is rare that I have trouble concentrating. This will be the very first time ever that I am not listening to an audiobook in fully. Disappointing.

Heavy going but well worth the effort
You need to stick with it. It is heavy going with a lot of subject matter that isn't easily understood at first. Some may think that Deepak's voice isn't best suited for narration but it is absolutely needed for the authenticity of it. You may have a bit of an inner battle with your mind on this and if your "mind" rules the day you will not finish it. But if you want to know that there is more to life than listening to your mind, obeying your mind and going along with the masses caught up in a mental haze of constantly wanting more and the dissatisfaction that goes with it; then you will finish this book and feel all the better for it.

I was really keen to listen, but...
....I was concentrating so hard on trying to tune into the accent that I got halfway through the book and realised I didn't remember anything I'd heard. It's an issue I've had with books from this author before but, after hearing this book discussed on a podcast, I thought I'd see if I could persevere this time. I'm really sorry to say that I couldn't. I'm not keen on giving low stars, as I know how much hard work goes into writing books and narrating them. Perhaps for people who have time to read books, this would be better in paper format. I'd love if this author's books could be read by another narrator. I've given three stars for the story, as I assume it's good, based on what I heard in the podcast.

Meta Mindblowing
A bit challenging at times, to comprehend the content due to the vastness of explanation, which is thorough and required to explain what awakening is! Enjoyed it's practical exercises and direct, to the point, information.
This, in turn illustrated how hypnotised I am, about reality
Deepak has delivered a brave and compassionate gift for us all. I will return to this book until I AM awakened.

Some 💎s in here
An excellent discussion on consciousness and experiential “human”ing.
Thought probing and exercises add to personal understanding of energy, matter and whatever, if anything, dances between.
The first half and final chapters were particularly fascinating. Highly recommend to the curious, the intellectual, the dreamers, the feelers and the rigid. Anyone looking for encouragement or research matter.

The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.
